摘要: In a method of manufacturing a blower unit including an electric motor (169, first and second centrifugal fans (11, 12), a blower casing (10), first and second scroll casings (13, 14), a sealing material (17) that forms a seal between an opening forming portion of the blower casing and the electric motor, a bell mouth portion that guides an air flow to the second centrifugal fan, and a retaining portion that retains the sealing material, the method includes interposing the sealing material between the retaining portion and the electric motor, and attaching the bell mouth portion and the retaining portion to the electric motor, connecting the first and second centrifugal fans to the rotating shaft of the electric motor while the bell mouth portion and the retaining portion are attached to the electric motor, and closing the second opening portion of the blower casing by housing the first and second centrifugal fans in the first and second scroll casings respectively, and attaching the electric motor to the blower casing.

摘要: In a two-stage supercharging electric-assist turbocharger, a first compressor wheel, a rotor of an electric motor, a second compressor wheel, and a turbine wheel are coaxially coupled to a same, common shaft member, in that order. A compressor housing is structured to define therein a communicating passage to accommodate the electric motor in the communicating passage. A first water jacket is formed in at least one rib integrally formed with an outer periphery of a motor housing and also serving as a radiating fin, for forced-cooling air flowing through the communicating passage. A second water jacket is formed in a motor housing for forced-cooling a stator of the electric motor. A third water jacket is formed in an intermediate housing constructing a part of the compressor housing for forced-cooling a control unit configured to control the electric motor.

摘要: A method for controlling the compression of an incoming feed air stream to a cryogenic air separation plant using at least two variable speed compressor drive assemblies controlled in tandem is provided. The first variable speed driver assembly drives at least one compression stage in the lower pressure compressor unit driven while the second variable speed driver assembly drives higher pressure compression stage disposed either in the common air compression train or the split functional compression train of the air separation plant. The first and second variable speed driver assemblies are preferably high speed, variable speed electric motor assemblies each having a motor body, a motor housing, and a motor shaft with one or more impellers directly and rigidly coupled to the motor shaft via a sacrificial rigid shaft coupling.

The present application increases the length of the first-stage diffuser, improving the diffusion effect of air entering the first-stage diffuser and thus enhancing the unit performance of the centrifugal compressor.

摘要: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, a electrical submersible pump includes a pump housing, a shaft extending at least partially through the pump housing and adapted to be driven by a submersible motor, an impeller attached to the shaft and having an impeller passage for fluid to flow therethrough, and a diffuser that is stationary relative to the pump housing and having a diffuser passage, wherein the diffuser is disposed corresponding to the impeller to form a pump stage such that fluid can flow between the impeller passage and the diffuser passage. The electrical submersible pump also includes a labyrinth seal formed between the impeller and the diffuser, wherein the labyrinth seal selectively seals the impeller passage from a cavity formed between the impeller and the diffuser to maintain the impeller in a floating condition relative to the diffuser.
