The inventive rubber composition is based on: at least one or several diene elastomers, and a plasticizing agent including a glycerol oleic acid triester, and is such that said plasticizing agent comprises: in accordance with a mass fraction ranging between 45 % and 100 %, one or several compounds not extracted from petroleum, synthetic and/or natural, which include at least a glycerol fatty acid triester, such that the assembly formed by the fatty acid(s) comprise said oleic acid in a mass fraction not less than 60 %; and in a mass fraction ranging between 55 % and 0 %, one or several plasticizing oils derived from petroleum, of the paraffin, aromatic, naphthene type. The invention is particular applicable to tyre casings of the passenger vehicle type.

The invention also concerns a method for forming an even glazed film on said sidewalls which consists in exposing the latter for at least 48 hours, in a chamber at 25 °C at least, to an ozone environment of at least 20 parts per hundred millions. The invention is particularly useful for protecting said casing against the visible effects of migrations of antioxidants and anti-ozone agents present in said sidewalls.
