    摘要: The object of the invention is to provide an economical and also resource-conserving method for the quick and simple production of inexpensive, organically modified silicas, and to provide compositions with high chemical purity containing these silicas. The first part of the object is achieved by providing a method for producing a modified precipitated silica, wherein i) the modification takes place in the reaction mixture, which comprises 1. acid and 2. a compound selected from a precipitated silica and/or [SiO
    4/2 ] starting substances and an organosiliconate as the modifying agent, wherein the modification reaction takes place during or directly after the reaction to produce the precipitated silica, ii) the reaction mixture is subsequently filtered and washed, and iii) the reaction mixture is dried if necessary and wherein an organosiliconate is used as the modifying agent and alkoxysilanes or alkali silicates are used as [SiO
    4/2 ] starting materials. The second part of the object is achieved by providing a composition, characterized in that (a) it contains at least 95 wt% precipitated silica, (b) the carbon content is at least 0.5 wt%, (c) the combined sodium and potassium content is at most 5000 ppm, and (d) the sulfur content is at most 2500 ppm. The compositions according to the invention can be used as a reinforcing filler in cross-linkable silicone rubber compounds, as antiblocking agents, in toners or developers.

    摘要: A process of preparing precipitated silica is disclosed. Said process comprises of reacting an aqueous solution of a metal silicate with a mineral acid in the presence of a surfactant solution comprising gelatin and C8-C20 sulfosuccinate blend, at a reaction temperature in a range of about 70 to 100 ºC with constant stirring such that a reaction mixture having a pH of about 10 + 0.3 is obtained; optionally, allowing the reaction mixture to age at a temperature in a range of about 70 to 100 °C for a time period in range of 10 to 100 minutes; adjusting the pH of the reaction mixture to about 4, followed by aging said mixture at a temperature in a range of about 70 to 100 ºC for a time period in a range of 10 minutes to 2 hours; and recovering the precipitated silica from the reaction mixture.
