摘要: A computer system (ABC) with a plurality of servers (A, B, C) execute software services. A controller (10) assigns services to servers (A, B or C) othe plurality by periodically recording a numerical value of the actual load that services in operation place on the servers and - upon receiving a request (REQU) for executing a particular service (1)again - estimating (430) an expected load by reading the numerical value for that particular service (1)from record, and assigning (440) the particular service (1) to a particular server (B) that has a capacity matching the expected load.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for the automated structuring of data representing a tangible system. The method includes receiving first item information describing a first tangible item of the system, receiving first item position information describing a position of the first item, receiving second item information describing a second tangible item of the system, receiving second item position information describing a position of the second item, and characterizing a relationship between the first item and the second item based at least in part upon the first item position information and the second item position information.

摘要: Method and computer system for document encryption. An adaptation engine (110) for partial encryption of a document (300) includes a paginator (102) for paginating the document (300) into at least one sub-page (301, 302) according to characteristics of a specific device class. The adaptation engine (110) further includes an encryptor (103) for separately encrypting a to-be-encrypted element of the at least one sub-page (301, 302) using a partial encryption mechanism known by a client device (902) that belongs to the specific device class.

摘要: Various implementations of the present invention provide systems and methods for customized scripting. One implementation provides for a visual display of a script to a user. The user makes use of the script in communicating with a specified person during a session. A computing system receives information relating to a specific session being conducted with the specified person. The computing system then processes the received information to generate output information that specifies a display of a customized script. The customized script contains a standard script determined by the specific session being conducted and information particular to the specified person. The output information is then received at a display device, and a display is generated thereon of the customized script for use by the user during the specific session with the specified person.

摘要: A heterogeneous information technology system in which compatible and incompatible client systems are able to dynamically access master data stored in a master database maintained by a master data server. An integration server communicates with the client systems and the master data server, and in response to a request for data from a client system, maps the master data in the master database to mapped data based on a set of mapping rules associated with the client system, and sends the mapped data to the client system.

摘要: A particular logging framework provides empirical data on the use of a multimodal system. The system receives user input in one of multiple modalities, and responds to the received single-modality input by updating a user interface in each of the multiple modalities. The user may respond, using an appropriate modality, to any of the multiple updated user interfaces. User inputs in each of the multiple modalities are logged and time-stamped to create an event log across all modalities for the user. Event logs may be analyzed or used to provide, for example, system improvements, technical support, replay of events, or monitoring of a user. Another logging framework logs events at a field-level from a user of a system. Another logging framework logs events from a user of a system and modifies a presentation parameter based on the logged user events, wherein content is presented to the user according to the presentation parameter.
