Disclosed therein is a gas temperature control apparatus for a DeNOx boiler in an engine cogeneration plant, which is installed to keep a reaction temperature of denitrification catalyst used to remove nitrogen oxide generated from an internal combustion engine in the engine cogeneration plant. The gas temperature control apparatus includes a connection passageway between a high-temperature gas part of a combustion tank of the boiler and an intermediate-temperature gas part formed after a first heat exchange, and a flow control valve mounted in the passageway to thereby control a volume of bypass combustion gas. The gas temperature control apparatus can easily raise temperature of combustion gas even though temperature of the inside water of the boiler does not reach a normal operation state since the flow control valve mounted in the connection passageway between the high-temperature gas part and the intermediate-temperature gas part, thereby greatly reducing a time period to reach an activation temperature of the denitrification catalyst.

This invention relates to an ion exchange membrane for a flow-electrode capacitive deionization (FCDi) device, a manufacturing method thereof and a flow-electrode capacitive deionization device including the ion exchange membrane, wherein the ion exchange membrane includes a porous polymer substrate; and a polymer electrolyte incorporated into pores of the porous polymer substrate. According to this invention, a cation exchange membrane and an anion exchange membrane for a flow-electrode capacitive deionization device, having superior ion conductivity, enable ions in feed water such as brackish water to be more rapidly transferred into the pores of the electrode active materials of flow electrodes, thereby remarkably increasing desalination efficiency of the flow-electrode capacitive deionization device, and stable operation of the flow-electrode capacitive deionization device becomes possible because of high water resistance and heat resistance of such ion exchange membranes.

Disclosed herein is a method of preparing an alloy catalyst for fuel cells, which is suitable for mass production and can reduce manufacturing costs. The method includes vaporizing at least two catalyst precursors in separate vaporizers; supplying the at least two vaporized catalyst precursors to a reactor while preventing contact therebetween; and synthesizing an alloy catalyst in the reactor. The method can prepare an alloy catalyst through a one-step process unlike typical multi-step methods for preparing catalysts, and can prepare an alloy catalyst at a much lower temperature than the typical methods for preparing alloys, thereby enabling mass production and cost reduction.
