摘要: The present invention relates to an oxidation catalyst for anion exchange membrane water electrolysis that exhibits excellent catalytic activity, electrical conductivity and a large surface area, and a preparation method thereof, an anode for anion exchange membrane water electrolysis and an anion exchange membrane water electrolysis system, each including the same.
The oxidation catalyst for anion exchange membrane water electrolysis of the present invention includes a spinel-based oxide, and is prepared by precisely controlling the use of complexing agent and the pH using a co-precipitation method, whereby the oxidation catalyst can reduce the catalyst particle size to facilitate uniform dispersion of high viscosity and has a nano-sized flake structure, which makes it possible to uniformly coat the ionomer between flakes, and forms a porous structure, thereby widening the surface area and achieving excellent catalytic activity.-

摘要: This invention discloses a method to prepare high-quality porous supported materials for catalytic applications, in order to achieve catalysts with both a uniform distribution of active phase and a uniform and controlled porosity, with control over pore size. One or more soluble active phase precursor is added to a slurry consisting of an insoluble support phase in water or organic solvent, the slurry is milled to reduce the particle size of the support phase to less than 50 µm, processing aids are added before or after milling, a pore former is added and the slurry is spray dried, compacted and subjected to thermal treatment for removal of the pore former.

摘要: Provided is a catalyst carrier module for a large-capacity catalyst reactor, which can be assembled in a large-capacity structure by laminating a flat plate and a wave plate to then be fixed in a can without brazing the flat plate and the wave plate constituting a cell forming body, for use in a catalytic reactor requiring a large-capacity exhaust gas treatment, to thereby manufacture the catalyst carrier module with a simple process and at low cost. The catalyst carrier module (or block) comprising: a can of a rectangular tube shape having an inlet and an outlet; at least one cell forming body in which a plurality of hollow cells are formed by alternately laminating a wave plate and a flat plate which are coated with a catalyst on a surface thereof and inserted into the can; and a fixing unit installed at the inlet and the outlet of the can to prevent the at least one cell forming body from detaching from the can.

摘要: The present invention provides a process for producing methane from a biomass, biomass-containing and/or biomass-derived feedstock, said process comprising the steps of: a) providing in a hydropyrolysis reactor vessel a 5 hydropyrolysis catalyst composition, said composition comprising one or more active metals supported on an oxide-based support, said one or more active metals comprising at least one of cobalt and nickel and said one or more active metals being present in total in an amount 10 in the range of from 2 to 75wt% based on the overall weight of the catalyst composition; b) contacting the feedstock with said hydropyrolysis catalyst composition and molecular hydrogen in said hydropyrolysis reactor vessel at a temperature in the 15 range of from 300 to 600°C and a pressure in the range of from 0.50 to 7.50MPa, to produce a first product stream comprising char, catalyst fines and gases comprising hydrogen and hydrocarbons, of which hydrocarbons at least 70wt% is methane and, optionally, CO and CO2; and 20 c) removing said char and catalyst fines from said first product stream.

Also disclosed is a process for the thermal decomposition of ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen, which process comprises contacting ammonia with the catalyst of the invention.
