Bei vorgegebenem, das Ventilverschlußglied (19) beaufschlagenden Druck, insbesondere des Öls im Einlaßkanal (13), ist das Ventilverschlußglied (19) von der Sitzfläche (17) abhebbar, wodurch der Mediumdurchgang vom Einlaßkanal (13) zum Auslaßkanal (15) freigegeben wird. Zumindest eine der beiden in der Schließstellung des Ventilverschlußgliedes (19) miteinander in Anlageberührung stehenden Flächen (21,17) des Ventilverschlußgliedes (19) bzw. Gehäuses (11) ist so ausgebildet, daß die Kontaktfläche verringert ist und dadurch die einer Ventilöffnung bei sehr geringem und eng toleriertem Öffnungsdruck entgegenwirkenden Adhäsionskräfte reduziert sind.

The needle includes an enlarged portion engaging and retaining the downstream end of the flexible seal to place the flexible seal in lengthwise compression between the enlarged portion and the dispenser body assembly. The needle also includes a valve element that moves between open and closed positions. The flexible seal prevents liquid from leaking out of the flow channel.
