摘要: Disclosed is an image scanning method, wherein an infrared line scanner is moved at different heights and at different speeds over a terrain in order to scan images of said terrain. The scanning rate of the line scanner is constant and is selected in such a way that no gaps occur between the linear image scannings in the predetermined height and speed areas, although overlappings may possibly occur. According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: an overscan factor is detected according to the height and the speed of the line scanner over the scanned surface; a first image is centered; a misalignment vector is calculated for the images scanned thereafter according to misalignment of the images; the images are aligned with each other with the aid of misalignment vectors and the mean value of the content of the aligned images is determined in the image areas by means of the overlapping fixed by the overscan factor.

摘要: In transmitting image data from multiple cameras to an image processing section to produce a synthesized image from respective camera images, the amount of data transmitted through a transmission path can be cut down without sacrificing the quality of the synthesized image. In accordance with a correspondence between the synthesized and camera images as described on a mapping table, a resolution specifier specifies resolutions, which should be necessary for image synthesis, for respective areas of each camera image. A compressor, provided for each of the cameras, compresses the associated camera image data according to the resolutions specified. In this manner, the image data, which has been compressed in accordance with the correspondence between the synthesized and camera images, is transmitted through the transmission path.

The method comprises: determining a reference pixel point from among pixel points in an infrared light image, and obtaining depth information of the reference pixel point; obtaining depth information of each pixel point in the infrared light image according to position information of the reference pixel point and the depth information; performing position mapping processing on each pixel point in the infrared light image on the basis of the corresponding depth information of each pixel point to obtain corresponding mapping point position information in a visible light image; performing alignment processing on the pixel points in the infrared light image and the visible light image according to the mapping point position information; and performing, on the basis of the infrared light image and the visible light image subjected to alignment processing, object recognition on an object to be recognized to obtain an object recognition result.
