    摘要： Apparatus (10) for intercepting solid matter from a fluid flowing through a drain, pipe or the like, includes a coupling (12) adapted for being coupled to an outlet of the drain, pipe or the like. The apparatus also includes a diversion mechanism, which in one form is a netting (14) adapted for intercepting the solid matter in the fluid and attached to the coupling in a manner such that fluid leaving the outlet can pass through the netting. Further, the apparatus includes a netting release mechanism (38) adapted for interacting between the netting and the coupling so as to release the netting from the coupling when a predetermined amount of solid matter has been intercepted. The diversion mechanism can also be provided in the form of an offtake pipe (70) or as overflow vents (80, 82).

    摘要： An oil container intended in particular for use in hydraulic steering systems in motor vehicles has a container pot (1) which is closed off by a lid (2). A filter insert (3) is forced by a spring (10) supported on the lid (2) against a seal seat (18) on the container floor (12) to form an excess pressure valve. The seal seat (18) surrounds a feed duct (14) connected to the oil container and opening out into the inner chamber (5) of the filter insert (3). The said duct is separated by the filter insert (3) from a discharge duct (16) connected outside the filter insert (3) to the oil container. The filter insert (3) has a cylindrical extension (8) which protrudes from its end facing the seal seat (18) into an inner chamber (5) of the filter insert (3). The feed duct (14) is led through the extension (8).

    摘要： A filter unit comprises a housing containing a filter element. The housing includes an inlet for fluid and an inlet passage which passes fluid to the filter element. An outlet passage conveys filtered fluid from the element to an outlet to the housing. The inlet passage includes a valve which can close the inlet passage. When this happens, a by-pass valve opens and connects the inlet to the housing direct to the housing outlet. An anti-backflow valve is provided in the outlet passage to prevent fluid passing back down the outlet passage to the filter element. The filter element can then be changed. A re-pressurization valve is provided to pass fluid to the element while the inlet passage is still closed and a vent port vents air from the element during this re-pressurization. Once re-pressurization is complete, the vent port and the re-pressurization valve are closed and the inlet valve opened so that filtration recommences.
