Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to provide a rubber composition having: excellent sealing properties, heat resistance and acid resistance; a low reaction force, low hardness and low compression set; and excellent low-temperature recovery properties that contribute to sealing properties particularly in low-temperature environment. It is another object of the invention to provide uses of the rubber composition and main bodies on which the rubber composition has been mounted. The rubber composition of the present invention comprises a specific ethylene/α-olefin/non-conjugated polyene copolymer [A], a SiH group-containing compound [B] having two SiH groups in one molecule, and a SiH group-containing compound [C] having three SiH groups in one molecule.

Provided is an immersion oil for microscope including a liquid olefin polymer (A), a liquid diene polymer (B), a diaryl alkane (C), and an alkyl benzene (D), the immersion oil for microscope being capable of maintaining low fluorescence of its own over a long period of time, having good characteristics required for an immersion oil for microscope, such as good refractive index, Abbe number, viscosity, and resolution, and being particularly suitable as an immersion oil for a fluorescence microscope.

Disclosed are a crystalline resin composition and crystalline resin film having excellent gas barrier properties, transparency and sliding properties. Specifically disclosed is a crystalline resin composition containing 0.01-0.5 part by weight of a porous filler (B) per 100 parts by weight of a crystalline resin (A). The porous filler (B) is composed of a spherical porous filler (B-1) having an average particle diameter of 1.5-6 μm and a polyhedral porous filler (B-2) having an average particle diameter of 0.4-1.5 μm in a weight ratio of 1/90 ≤ (B-1)/(B-2) ≤ 1/1. Also specifically disclosed is a crystalline resin film having an oxygen transmission rate of not more than 50 ml/[m2·day·atm] with a thickness of 15 μm at 23˚C, 65%RH, a haze of not more than 2.5%, and a static friction coefficient of not more than 0.5 at 23˚C, 65%RH and not more than 0.6 at 23˚C, 90%RH.

The present invention relates to a novel method of flame retarding a polymeric substrate by adding a small but efficient amount of a synergistic mixture ofat least one sterically hindered N-alkoxyamine (NOR), at least a metal salt of hypophosphorous (phosphinic) acid and at least one organo-halogen flame retardant. A further aspect of the invention is the flame retardant composition itself and together with a polymer. The present invention also relates to polymeric articles (e.g. moldings, films, fibers, etc.) that are stabilized against light, heat and oxygen and made flame retardant by incorporation of at least one sterically hindered N- alkoxy amine, at least a metal salt of hypophosphorous acid (phosphinic acid) and at least one organo-halogen flame retardant.

A stabilized cylclic copolymer composition and a method of stabilizing a cyclic copolymeric article, such as an extruded or molded article or a biaxially oriented tape or film to protect the article from degradation due to exposure to UV light and the stabilized cyclic olefin copolymeric article. The article is formed by blending a cyclic olefin copolymeric material with from about 50 to about 2000 ppm of at least one ortho hydroxy tris-aryl triazine light absorber and from about 250 ppm to about 5000 ppm of at least one low molecular weight HALS having a molecular weight less than about 500 and optionally from about 250 to about 5000 ppm of an oligomeric HALS, wherein the weight ratio of ΗALS to triazine light absorber is from about 7:1 to about 20:1 , to form a stabilized cyclic olefin copolymeric composition, and forming an extruded or molded article or film from the stabilized cyclic olefin copolymeric composition.
