The SRNC transmits service parameters including bit rate information for the packet data service to the DRNC, and receives information on a common channel determined based on the service parameters from the DRNC. The SRNC transmits information on the determined common channel to the UE through the DRNC and the second Node B, to allocate the determined common channel to the UE.

The Node Bs transmit dedicated channel data including a first TFCI bit to the UE over dedicated channels. A first Node B transmits dedicated channel data over a dedicated channel and transmits downlink shared channel data over the downlink shared channel. The first Node B determines a transmission power level of the second TFCI bit to be higher than a ratio of transmission power of the dedicated channel data from a Node B transmitting only the dedicated channel data to transmission power of the first TFCI bit.

A terminal receives a service guide from a corresponding visited service provider (Visited SP) when the terminal moves to a roaming area.     摘要： Disclosed is a mobile telecommunication system in which packet data is transmitted over an uplink, and particularly a method and an apparatus for transmitting control information from a UE to a Node B. By multiplexing, several upper layer data units and MAC layer control information are included in a packet which the UE transmits during one transmission period in the uplink. A header of the packet accommodates multiplexing information, and thus the Node B uses the multiplexing information for demultiplexing upper layer data units from the packet. When the packet accommodates only the MAC layer control information, the UE does not insert the header into the packet, thereby reducing the packet size. The Node B then determines whether the packet includes only the control information or the upper layer data units together with the header.
