摘要： Psyllium powder is rendered substantially instantly and uniformly dispersible in water by wetting the psyllium particles with an alcoholic solution of at least one of polyethylene glycol and polyvinylpyrrolidone and granulating the thus-coated particles. Polyvinylpyrrolidine in the coating reduces the friability of the granules.

摘要： A process for isolating an enzyme mixture useful in the treatment of devitalized tissue from crude bromelain. The process comprises the steps of (1) suspending the crude bromelain in a weakly basic buffer, preferably sodium borate buffer, to selectively dissolve the active enzyme mixture; (2) separating the undissolved solids from the solution; and (3) removing small molecules having a molecular weight of 10,000 or less from the solution. The product exhibits 15 to 35 units of protease activity per milligram of protein in the presence of cysteine and from 0.5 to 5 units of collagenase activity per milligram of protein. The enzyme mixture is dissolved in an inert solvent carrier containing at least 60 percent water prior to application to the devitalized tissue.

摘要： The present invention provides a preparation method of a rice bran extract composition and its use for skin care wherein the preparation method comprises steps as follows: rice bran and a solvent with a concentration more than 80% are mixed for development of a mixed solution and stirred as well as extracted at 40-55°C; the mixed solution is centrifuged or filtered for collections of supernatants or filtrates; the supernatants or filtrates go through a vacuum concentration process for collections of rice bran extracts; the rice bran extracts are treated for preparation of a rice bran extract composition. As shown in the present disclosure, rice bran rich in healthcare elements but usually abandoned are recycled and manufactured as a rice bran extract composition that is added into a personal skin-care product for promotion of skin whitening, anti-senescence, anti-inflammation and anti-allergy and a solvent treated in a vacuum concentration process is also recycled and reused as the solvent during preparation of the present invention for resources economization and efficiency of recycling economy.
