The invention relates to a method for production of a glazed piece provided with a multi-layer coating deposited by cathodic atomisation, a glazed piece provided with a multi-layer coating and a crowned or tempered glazed piece provided with a multi-layer coating. According to the invention, at least one first transparent dielectric layer is deposited, followed by a functional layer based on a material which reflects infra-red radiation. A first protective layer is then deposited with at most 3nm of a material having an electronegativity difference to oxygen of less than 1.9, followed by deposition of a second protective layer, with at most 7nm of a material with an electronegativity difference to oxygen of greater than 1.4. At least one second transparent dielectric layer is then deposited. The invention is particularly advantageous for the formation of glazed pieces with low emmissivity or for solar protection which are crowned or tempered after deposition of the coating.

This invention relates to glazing panels, and in particular to electrochromic glazing panels and to a process for manufacturing such glazing panels. It is disclosed a glazing panel comprising two sheets of glass spaced apart from each other and sealed together along all of their edges, wherein the distance between the two sheets of glass is between 10 and 500 µm and wherein the glazing panel is provided with a plurality of spaced deposits arranged between and in contact with the two sheets of glass and arranged with a distance between the deposits of between 1 and 10 cm, at least some of the deposits being attached to the surface of each glass sheet and each deposit comprising an adhesive. The glazings according to the invention have the advantage of providing a substantially constant distance between the two sheets of glass over substantially the whole surface of the glazing panel.

More particularly, it concerns cambered glass panes comprising marked curvatures which are combined in limited zones of said glazing. To enable these curvatures to be formed during cambering, the glazing is cut out locally to produce recesses. L'invention se rapporte à un procédé de fabrication d'un vitrage pourvu d'un revêtement multicouche déposé par pulvérisation cathodique, au vitrage muni d'un revêtement multicouche et à un vitrage bombé ou trempé muni d'un revêtement multicouche. Selon l'invention, on dépose au moins une première couche diélectrique transparente suivie par le dépôt d'une couche fonctionnelle à base d'un matériau réfléchissant le rayonnement infrarouge. On dépose ensuite une première couche de protection d'au plus 3 nm d'un matériau dont la différence d'électronégativité avec l'oxygène est inférieure à 1,9, suivie du dépôt d'une seconde couche de protection d'au plus 7 nm d'un matériau dont la différence d'électronégativité avec l'oxygène est supérieure à 1,4. Puis on dépose au moins une seconde couche diélectrique transparente. L'invention est particulièrement avantageuse pour former des vitrages à faible émissivité ou de protection solaire qui sont bombés ou trempés après dépôt du revêtement.
