The conductive laminate for a tough panel of the present invention includes a substrate which has two main surfaces; a patterned plated layer which is disposed on at least one main surface of the substrate and has a functional group that interacts with metal ions; and a patterned metal layer which is disposed on the patterned plated layer, in which the patterned plated layer includes a metal component constituting the patterned metal layer and the ratio of the average peak intensity resulting from the metal component contained in the patterned plated layer to the average peak intensity resulting from the metal component constituting the patterned metal layer is in a range of 0.5 to 0.95 when the cross sections of the patterned plated layer and the patterned metal layer are compositionally analyzed using an energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy method.

Disclosed is a surface plasmon resonance sensor chip, comprising a glass substrate layer, a gold film layer and a probe molecule layer. The gold film layer is disposed on the glass substrate layer and the probe molecule layer is disposed on the gold film layer. Also disclosed is a method for preparing the surface plasmon resonance sensor chip. By means of a surface plasmon resonance spectrum generated by the surface of the gold film disposed on the glass substrate, the content of lipopolysaccharide in an aqueous solution is detected in a fast, simple, quantitative and ultra-sensitive way.

Certain example embodiments relate to techniques for creating flat laminated mirrors, e.g., for use in concentrating solar power (CSP) applications. In certain example embodiments, the first substrate is a low iron glass substrate. A reflective coating is provided between the first and second substrates. The first and second substrates are laminated together via a radiation curable laminating adhesive with the reflective coating between the substrates. In certain example embodiments the radiation curable laminating adhesive is cured via UV radiation in order to form a laminated reflective article.

They are characterized in that the paint layers are free of alkyd resin and in that the first paint layer closest to the silver coating layer has a thickness of at least 10 μm.
