According to the invention, the movement between the moving contacts of the first chamber (Ca) and those of the second chamber (Cb) is transmitted simultaneously by a transmission assembly (4, 40, 41) which is fastened directly, on the one hand, to the moving main contact (7a) of the first chamber and, on the other hand, to the moving arc contact (1b) of the second chamber, the transmission assembly being contained inside the two cut-off chambers.
