摘要: Provided is a DC current breaker having a high-speed breaking function appropriate to a voltage-type converter and a DC current breaking method. In addition, provided is a DC current breaker and a DC current breaking method capable of reducing cost of the breaker and securing economical competiveness by using a relatively simple configuration. The DC current breaker for breaking a DC current at the time of occurrence of an accident includes: a main conduction unit including three high-speed mechanical switches installed to be connected in series to a main conduction path for conducting a normal-operation-state current; a power semiconductor switch installed to be connected in parallel to one high-speed mechanical switch among the high-speed mechanical switches installed in the main conduction unit for current breaking of the main conduction unit; a capacitor installed on a circuit connected in parallel to the main conduction path; and a surge arrester installed to be connected in parallel to the capacitor connected in parallel to the main conduction path. The DC current breaking method uses the DC current breaker.

摘要: The invention relates to an interrupter device (10) for interrupting a direct current between a direct-current source (2) and an electric device (6), in particular between a photovoltaic generator and an inverter. The interrupter device (10) comprises a mechanical switch (16) which has a first fixed contact (18), a second fixed contact (20), and a contact bridge (22) that can be moved between a first position (32) and a second position (34). In the first position (32), the first fixed contact (18) and the second fixed contact (20) are electrically contacted by means of the contact bridge (22), and in the second position (34), the contact bridge (22) is arranged at a distance from the first fixed contact (18) and the second fixed contact (20). The contact bridge (22) and the first fixed contact (18) are electrically contacted by a semiconductor switch (40) which blocks a current when the contact bridge (22) is in the first position (32). A control input (44) of the semiconductor switch (40) is connected to the mechanical switch (16) such that an arcing voltage (64) generated as a result of an arc (60) across the switch (16) connects the semiconductor switch (40) so as to conduct a current when the contact bridge (22) is moved into the second position (34).

摘要: The invention relates to a circuit breaker for interrupting an electrical circuit when current limit values are exceeded, said circuit-breaker having a current sensor for determining the electrical current flowing through the circuit-breaker and being connected to a control device of the circuit-breaker. When current limit values are exceeded, the electrical circuit is interrupted. Defined are: a nominal current of the circuit-breaker; a first current limit value, which is a multiple of the nominal current and which, when exceeded, results in an immediate interruption; a second current limit value, which is less than or equal to the nominal current and which, when exceeded, results in a time-delayed interruption, such that the second interruption time reduces as the current increases. The circuit-breaker has only one control element for setting a current limit value, said element defining the second current limit value for the time-delayed interruption of the electrical circuit. The other parameters are either set in a fixed manner and/or are related to the settable or set second current limit value Ir.
