摘要： Air duct outlets having closeable doors are provided. An air duct outlet (10) includes a housing (12) having a front wall (14) with an opening (16) therein that allows air to pass therethrough. A door assembly (18) is movably mounted to the housing and includes a unitary door (20) having an exterior surface (20a). The door assembly is movable between a closed position and an open position. The door substantially covers the front wall opening and is substantially flush with the front wall when the door assembly is in the closed position. The door is retracted from the front wall opening when the door assembly is in the open position. In the closed position, the door provides a continuous, uniform, and aesthetically pleasing appearance with the front wall.

The insert is adhered to the skin either after the molding of the skin or, in the alternative, during the molding of the skin.

摘要： A convertible container holding assembly includes a housing (28) fixedly secured to a structure such as an armrest (24) or instrument panel (12). A base (30) is movable into and out of the housing between retracted and extended positions. The base includes a support (32) and a stabilizing edge (34). The support and stabilizing edge define a portion of a cupholding area. A stabilizing arm is pivotally secured to the base and positionable in an infinite number of positions such that it is capable of positively abutting the container (42) when the container is positively abutting the stabilizing edge, regardless of the diameter of the container. A brake (46) prevents the stabilizing arm from moving to its outermost position once it is forced into engagement with the container. The stabilizing arm may be reset by forcing it to its innermost position or by retracting the base into the housing and moving the base back to its extended position.

摘要： The container holding assembly includes a base defining a planar surface. The container holding assembly also includes a lid which is pivotally secured to the base at a pivot point offset from the base. A stabilizing arm is connected to the lid. The stabilizing arm is movable between a retracted position when the lid is in a closed position and a stabilizing position when the lid is in an open position. The stabilizing arm includes two back ends which move through slots defined by protrusions extending out from the interior surface of the lid. 摘要： A cup holder (10) has an elongated drawer movable between a retracted position and an extended position. The retracted position is within the housing (12). The extended position is outside the housing (12). The drawer (24) has a support platform which is pivotally secured to the drawer (24). The support platform (28) pivots between a non-supporting position when the drawer (24) is in the retracted position and a supporting position when the drawer (24) is in the extended position. A stabilizing arm is also secured to the drawer (24) and pivots between a non-stabilizing position when the drawer (24) is in the retracted position and a stabilizing position when the drawer (24) is in the extended position. Secured to the support platforms (28, 30) and the stabilizing arms are rods which have support and stabilizing pins extending out therefrom. The rods travel in slots cut out of vertical side walls of the housing. Because the slots have ramp angles, the support platforms (28, 30) and the stabilizing arms pivot between the use and non-use positions as the drawer (24) is moved between its retracted position and its extended position. The stabilizing arm (56, 58) includes an aperture through which the support platform (28) pivots allowing the compact design of the drawer (24) assembly while having a support platform (28) in the stabilizing arm (56) aligned on top of each other so that a cup may be supported by the support platform (28) and stabilized by the stabilizing arm (56) when they are in the use positions.
