    摘要: Provided is a resin-laminated board that can improve the stiffness further while securing the weight and thickness reduction. A resin-laminated board includes a front-side sheet 120A and a backside sheet 120B layered on each other with a hollow part interposed therebetween. The backside sheet 120B is recessed toward the hollow part to provide a plurality of first recesses 200S and a plurality of second recesses 200L. The front-side sheet 120A and the backside sheet 120B are connected to each other with plural ribs by welding bottoms of the first recesses 200S and the second recesses 200L to the front-side sheet 120A. The resin-laminated board has a thin-plate part 100a having the first recesses 200S with small depth and a thick-plate part 100b having the second recesses 200L with large depth, and the first recesses 200S and the second recesses 200L are arranged at substantially the same pitch.

    摘要: A method of securely mounting a stent on a balloon of a catheter. The method generally includes crimping a stent on a balloon of a catheter at least one time, and positioning the balloon with the stent thereon within a polished bore of a mold formed at least in part of a metallic material. The balloon is pressurized and heated within the mold, or within a sheath, in two stages as the stent is restrained from radially expanding. The method may include crimping the stent onto the balloon one or two times during processing. The method increases retention of the stent on the balloon catheter following sterilization.

    摘要: A balloon catheter is provided that may be used to dilate hardened regions of a stenosis. The balloon catheter is provided with one or more dilation elements (130, 320) that extend along a surface of a balloon (140, 311). Each dilation element (130, 320) is connected to an outer surface (140, 311) of the balloon by a connector (120, 330). The connector (120, 330) is sufficiently sized and designed to undergo stress-induced plastic deformation incurred during blow molding so that a significant portion of each of the dilation elements (130, 320) does not become absorbed into the wall of the final blow molded balloon 150), thereby maintaining the structural integrity of each of the dilation elements (130, 320).
