A frame serving as a seatback frame for a vehicle seat and simply configured to reduce a load applied to a seated occupant at the time of a vehicle collision is provided. A seatback frame (1) includes a connecting wire (21) which connects side frames (15). The center of the connecting wire (21) is bent to extend toward a front side of a vehicle seat (S). When the seated occupant is moved toward a rear side of the vehicle seat (S) at the time of a vehicle rear-end collision, the forward extending portion restrains a portion of the back of the seated occupant in which a thoracic vertebra is located and reduces an amount of a rearward movement of the portion.

Die Besonderheit besteht darin, dass in einem ersten Umfangsteilbereich (T1) eine Außenfläche (16) der Hülse (15) mit einer Innenfläche (17) des Tragrohres (11) in Kontakt steht und dass in einem zweiten Umfangsteilbereich (T2) die Außenfläche (16) einen Rücksprung (23) aufweist, in welchen ein über die Innenfläche (17) vorstehender Vorsprung (22) hineinragt.
