    摘要： A high flow rate inflator intended to be threaded into or onto the threaded neck of a conventional gas cylinder. The inflator comprises a spring-loaded ballasted firing pin that is retained in a cocked position by a tethered trigger pin. Upon firing by pulling on the trigger pin, the firing pin forcibly moves into engagement with a power primer mounted with a power primer holder to ignite the same, whereupon the ignition gases forcibly drives a hollow larger diameter pierce pin mounted within an interior cylinder into the frangible seal of the gas cartridge to cut a large-bore hole therethrough and allow gas escaping from the gas cylinder to flow at a high rate through the inflator into an inflatable device.

    摘要： A system and method for managing treatment of a disorder of a person are disclosed. Data from multiple sources is collected in a data warehouse by a server computer. The data is associated with the disorder, and the sources including a clinical data source and a real-time monitoring source associated with the person. The collected data is normalized against a population of persons sharing the disorder. The normalized data is then associated with the person to generate a treatment regime of the disorder. A compliance by the person with the treatment regime is then calculated based on operational metrics for the population and the data collected from the plurality of sources.

    摘要： A valve (100a) that has at least one internal port (130a) on a valve core (102a) and at least one an internal slot (154a) in a valve body (108a). The valve core (102a) is biased into a position wherein the port of the valve core is aligned with a sealing surface (126a) of the valve body thereby prohibiting fluid flow through the valve. The valve core (102a) is slidable such that the port of the valve core becomes aligned with the internal slot (154a) of the valve body thereby allowing fluid flow through the valve. Another valve includes a self-aligning valve seat carrier (200c) which is pivotably engaged with a valve core member. The self-aligning valve seat carrier engages a sealing surface in a valve body to prohibit fluid flow through the valve, but the valve core is slidable such that the self-aligning valve seat carrier disengages from the sealing surface in order to allow fluid flow through the valve.
