The present invention relates to the use of a peptide consisting of 5 to 30 amino acid residues comprising an amino acid sequence selected from LLADTTHHRPWT (SEQ ID NO: 1), SPGLSLVSHMQT (SEQ ID NO: 2), and the sequences presenting at least 80% identity with SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2, for the funcfionalization of silicon substrate. The present invention also relates to the specific peptides as such, and to silicon substrates functionalized by the adsorption on their surface of such specific peptides. Finally, the present invention is also directed to a process for the preparation of such functionalized silicon substrates, and to articles comprising a silicon substrate according to the invention.

The invention relates to a sheet of vegetable wool fibre impregnated with a reactive mix made up of a partially or completely epoxidised vegetable oil and a hardener. The invention also relates to a panel including a sheet according to the invention. The invention further relates to a method for manufacturing a sheet or a panel according to the invention, comprising the following steps: mixing an epoxidised vegetable oil and a hardener at a temperature higher than each one of the melting temperatures thereof and lower than each one of the breakdown temperatures thereof; depositing the obtained mix on an assembly of vegetable wool fibres at a temperature higher than each one of the melting temperatures thereof and lower than each one of the breakdown temperatures thereof.

More specifically, the invention relates to specific antibodies of a peptide domain which is situated on either side of hinge region R76S77 of proBNP(1-108). In particular, the invention relates to a method of obtaining the aforementioned antibodies and to the use thereof in detecting blood proBNP(1-108) with the exception of BNP(1-76) and BNP(77-108). The invention also relates to a method of detecting blood proBNP(1-108), reagents and a kit for same.

The invention relates to a system for controlled release of an active principle, comprising at least (a) a degradable polymer matrix which produces acid compounds and (b) at least one acid-sensitive complex of an active principle having at least one electrostatic charge and a complexing polyelectrolyte partner of opposite charge which complexes with the active principle. The invention further relates to a method for preparation of such a system. The release of the active principle (7P) is prolonged over 18 days (ternary system PMLA/7P/PLAGA) in comparison to binary systems (7P/PLAGA) and (PMLA/7P).
