In order to eliminate the tangential velocity component of the airflow leaving the fan and improve the heat transfer from the heating elements to the airflow and due to that obtain a more uniform heat distribution in the oven cavity a fan provided with airflow guiding means (25) is located on or beyond the heating elements viewed in a radial direction from the center of rotation of the impeller.
