The invention relates to a hot air oven in which a fan provided with an impeller (12) circulates air past heating elements (26) located in the periphery of the impeller. The air is sucked in into the center of the impeller (12) from the oven cavity and is thrown out from the impeller (12) past the heating elements (26) in order to be reintroduced through apertures at the edges of the oven cavity into the cavity. In order to eliminate the tangential velocity component of the airflow leaving the fan and improve the heat transfer from the heating elements to the airflow and due to that obtain a more uniform heat distribution in the oven cavity a fan provided with airflow guiding means (25) is located on or beyond the heating elements viewed in a radial direction from the center of rotation of the impeller.

A method for determining when a food has thawed in a microwave oven (1), characterised in that the food (9) is placed above an element (14) constructed of a microwave-sensitive material, said food shielding said element from the microwaves to a different extent according to its degree of thawing. The temperature increase in said material resulting from its absorption of said microwaves is measured by transducer means (18) which receive a signal operationally related to said temperature and which on the basis of said signal halt the thawing when said temperature has reached a suitable value. A device for implementing aforesaid method, characterised in that the element (14) constructed of microwave-sensitive material is associated with a food support (8) which thermally isolates it from the food (9), said element being in direct or indirect contact with the transducer means (18). Said means can be disposed either in the food support (8) or in the bottom wall (7) of the oven thawing chamber (4) below said support.

In the refrigeration unit (3) a fan is arranged for circulating air from the evaporator to the refrigeration compartment (12) and backwards. For conveying the air the body unit (1) is provided with ducts (18, 23). In order to meet the user's requirements with respect to the extent of the refrigeration capacity the refrigerator can be extended with at least one further body unit (30) which is connectable to the first mentioned body unit (1) in a removable way, corresponding ends of the ducts (18-31, 23-32) being interconnectable. In this way a modular construction is obtained.

A motor-compressor comprising a vibration motor (1) having a rotationally vibrating drive shaft (4) and a compressor (2) having at least one piston (10) which is linearly reciprocated by the motor shaft (4), which motor-compressor is accomodated in a housing (14), is characterized in that the motor-compressor is suspended in the housing (14) by means of springs (15) in such a way that the points of attachment (17) of the springs in the housing are disposed in a plane which also contains the axis (16) of the rotation, to which the motor-compressor is subjected in operation, and in that the springs (15) are situated as close as possible to said axis of rotation (16). This counteracts the unbalance forces to a maximum extent and minimizes the dynamic forces on the housing.

Bei einem Verfahren zum Ziehen eines Kühlschrankinnenbehälters aus Kunststoff (12) mit einer in seiner Rückwand verlaufenden Wasserablaufrinne (5ʹ) wird ein Formstück (2) mit einer Rinnenkontur (5) zum Formen der Wasserablaufrinne (5ʹ) in seine Formlage unter Streckung des die Rückwand mit der Wasserablaufrinne bildenden Kunststoffabschnittes (14) und unter Festlegung eines Bereiches der Rückwand mittels einer Halteeinrichtung (7) verschwenkt. Das Aufbringen des Unterdruckes setzt mit dem Ende des Verschwenkens ein.
