Abstract: Provided are: a photocurable composition which comprises one type or more of an ultraviolet absorbing agent represented by general formula (1); and a hard coat agent composed of the photocurable composition. (1) (In the formula, R 1 to R 3 are the same or different and represent a C1 to 20 branched or linear alkyl group substituted with a (meth)acryloyloxy group. This alkyl group may be substituted with a hydroxy group, a C1 to 8 alkoxy group, or a C1 to 8 acyloxy group. In addition, it may be interrupted by one or more of an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a carbonyl group, an ester group, an amide group and an imide group. R 4 to R 6 are the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms.)

Abstract: A high-purity piperazine pyrophosphate containing not more than 10 ppm of sodium and represented by the chemical formula (I) below is disclosed which enables to provide a flame retardant composition with excellent flame resistance. A method for producing such a piperazine pyrophosphate at low cost is also disclosed wherein the piperazine pyrophosphate is produced through dehydration condensation of a piperazine diphosphate.
