摘要: There are provided a method for producing particles by suspension polymerization which ensures an excellent dispersion stability of the monomer and a simpler washing step, composite particles obtainable by this production method, and use of the composite particles. The method for producing composite particles includes a polymerization step of subjecting a monomer mixture which contains a polymerizable vinyl monomer to aqueous suspension polymerization in a presence of small polymer particles having a volume-average particle size of 20 to 500 nm, with a water-soluble cellulose compound adsorbing on surfaces of the small polymer particles, and thereby obtaining composite particles which contain the small polymer particles and large polymer particles greater than the small polymer particles.

摘要: Method for producing a thermoplastic moulding compound containing: up to 40 wt.% of a graft copolymer A, containing 50-70 wt.% graft base A1 from an acrylic ester polymer and 30-50 wt.% of a graft shell A2, and 0-90 wt.% of a hard matrix B, wherein the reaction for producing the graft copolymer A is carried out in the presence of 0.01 to 4 times the molar amount of sodium carbonate, relative to the molar amount of initiator, wherein the reaction for producing copolymer A is carried out in the presence of 0.1 to 1 wt.% of an emulsifier relative to the amount of the respective monomers used, and wherein during the polymerisation reaction, during the post-polymerisation and/or after the polymerisation reaction, water or an aqueous alkali solution are added to the reaction mixture for producing the graft copolymer A.

摘要: The wet adhesion of a coating composition may be improved through the use of voided latex particles as opacifying agents which contain a hollow interior as well as an outer shell of a polymer containing functional groups such as amino, 1,3-diketo, urea or ureido. Other types of functional groups may be introduced to the outer shell polymer in order to vary other desired characteristics of the coating. The voided latex particles are non-film-forming.
