摘要: An intraocular lens (1) that comprises a lens (2) and a pair of loop-shaped haptics (3) formed in both sides of the lens, each of said haptics (3) being provided with a hooking member (30) at the top end thereof. In the case of, for example, implanting the intraocular lens (1) in an eye in such a manner that the top end of the haptic (3) is inserted into the scleral tunnel, the hooking member (30) hooks to somewhere within the scleral tunnel. Thus, the haptic (3) is strongly restrained in the scleral tunnel, which ensures the fixation of the intraocular lens. Namely, provided is an intraocular lens that is designed so that the top end of a supporting part of the intraocular lens can be kept outside or inside of the sclera without stitching.

摘要: A surgical instrument (1) is provided with a rigid probe (2), and cuts off the trabecular meshwork by inserting this probe (2) into the canal of Schlemm. An inner tube portion having a cutter is equipped inside the probe, and the trabecular meshwork sucked in from a hole portion (22) is cut off by the cutter due to the movement of the inner tube portion. A protection portion (21) is formed on the tip the probe (2) and protects the outer wall of the canal of Schlemm when cutting the trabecular meshwork. According to the invention, an ophthalmic surgical instrument for glaucoma patients is provided, the surgical instrument having excellent operability and preventing cutting of parts that should not be cut off without fail.
