The refrigerator oil composition of the present invention is for a refrigerator in which a refrigerant containing as a major component at least one of a fluorine-containing organic compound selected from a compound represented by the following molecular formula (A) is used: C p F r R s (A), wherein R represents Cl, Br, I, or H; p represents an integer of from 2 to 6; r represents an integer of from 1 to 12; and s represents an integer of from 0 to 11, provided that the molecule has one or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bond, and the composition contains a polyol ester compound and a polyoxyalkylene glycol compound as a base oil in a mass ratio of from 10/90 to 98/2.

A lubricating oil composition for a refrigerating machine according to the present invention includes: a base oil including as a main component at least one kind of oxygen-containing compound selected from polyoxyalkylene glycols, polyvinyl ethers, copolymers of poly(oxy)alkylene glycols or monoethers thereof and polyvinyl ethers, polyol esters, and polycarbonates; a sulfonic acid metal salt having a hydrocarbyl group; and a phosphoric acid ester. The lubricating oil composition for a refrigerating machine can enhance the abrasion resistance of a sliding part of a refrigerating machine using a refrigerant including at least one kind of fluorine-containing organic compound selected from compounds represented by the following molecular formula (A) or including a combination of the fluorine-containing organic compound and a saturated fluorinated hydrocarbon compound: C p O q F r R s (A) [in the formula: R represents Cl, Br, I, or H; and p represents an integer of from 1 to 6, q represents an integer of from 0 to 2, r represents an integer of from 1 to 14, and s represents an integer of from 0 to 13, provided that, when q represents 0, p represents from 2 to 6 and one or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds are included in a molecule].

The refrigerating machine oil composition of the invention is characterized by containing a mixed base oil which has a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 0.11 to 8 mm 2 /s and which is composed of a low-viscosity base oil (A) having a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 5 mm 2 /s or lower, and a high-viscosity base oil (B) having a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 20 to 400 mm 2 /s, each of the base oil (A) and (B) being composed of at least one species selected from among a mineral oil, a synthetic hydrocarbon compound, an oxygen-containing compound, and a sulfur-containing compound. The refrigerating machine oil composition exhibits enhanced energy saving performance by virtue of its low viscosity, has excellent sealing performance and load resistance, and can be employed in various refrigeration means, particularly suitably in a closed-type refrigerator.

A lubricating oil composition according to one embodiment of the present invention contains an oxygen-containing synthetic base oil having an oxygen content (A) of from 15 to 40 mass% and a kinetic viscosity at 100°C of from 0.5 to 50 mm 2 /s, and a viscosity index improver that is an oxygen-containing compound having an oxygen content (B) of from 15 to 40 mass% and a kinetic viscosity at 100°C of 11,000 mm 2 /s or more, a mass ratio of the oxygen-containing synthetic base oil and the viscosity index improver being from 99.5:0.5 to 75:25, and a ratio (A/B) of the oxygen content (A) of the oxygen-containing synthetic base oil to the oxygen content (B) of the viscosity index improver being in a range of from 0.5 to 2.

A lubricating oil composition for refrigerators including (A) a base oil containing as a main component a polyol ester compound obtained from a polyhydric alcohol selected from among pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane and neopentyl glycol and a C 4 to C 20 aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, (B) a phosphorus-based additive comprised of a phosphoric acid triester and/or a phosphorous acid triester, and (C) at least one acid scavenger selected from among glycidyl esters, glycidyl ethers and α-olefin oxides. The lubricating oil composition is applicable to such refrigerators that use a refrigerant having a specific structure, such as an unsaturated fluorinated hydrocarbon compound, and being usable in current car air conditioner systems, and has excellent compatibility with the refrigerant, good sealing properties, capability of imparting a low coefficient of friction to sliding members and, yet, excellent stability.

The lubricating oil composition for a refrigerator is used for a refrigerator that uses, as a refrigerant, a fluorine-containing organic compound, which is a refrigerant applicable to current car air conditioner systems or the like and has a specific polar structure, and has favorable sealing property, a low coefficient of friction factor in a sliding part, and excellent stability as well as excellent compatibility with the refrigerant.

The present invention provides a refrigerator oil composition comprising a base oil which is at least one member selected from mineral oils and synthetic oils, and at least one imide compound, said imide compound in an amount of 0.01 to 5 % by mass based on the total amount of the refrigerator oil composition, and also provides a compressor and a refrigeration apparatus using the refrigerator oil composition. The refrigerator oil composition and the compressor and the refrigeration apparatus using the refrigerator oil composition satisfy both sludge dispersibility and prevention of wear and seizing of a sliding part made of aluminum and/or iron.
