    摘要: A filter element for use in a gas compression system is disclosed and is structured to filter a lubricant mist from a flow of compressed gas. The filter element includes a lip and a separator flange that extends from the lip in a generally downward direction to a basket. The basket can contain a filter media useful to remove lubricant mist from the flow of compressed gas. The separator flange is oriented in a downward direction to encourage condensate to flow toward the basket and away from a lid of a container in which the filter element is installed.

    摘要: During the process of compressing air, atmospheric air along with water vapor and airborne contaminants are ingested into the air compressor. Many of these compressors utilize oil for lubrication, sealing and cooling. A compressor system utilizes drain valves to remove the condensate that accumulates in the system which are typically located on the compressor, moisture separators, coalescing filters, receivers, dryers, and drip legs. While the drain valves successfully remove the condensate, this condensate is now contaminated with lubricant. The compressor system also includes a filter for the removal of lubricant from the condensed water so that the water can be discharged to sewer. The filter is arranged to house a series of vertically stacked filter cartridges, each cartridge structured to pass fluid flow to the other cartridge. The housing is connected to the filter cartridges via a variable length pipe extension dependent on the number of filter cartridges used in an application.

    摘要: A compressor system (200) comprising: an oil flooded fluid compressor (260) operable to compress a compressible working fluid; a dehumidifier (220) operable for removing moisture from the compressible working fluid upstream of the fluid compressor, the dehumidifier (200) including a conditioner (214) and a regenerator (218); a lubrication supply system operable for supplying oil to the compressor; an oil cooler (290) configured to cool oil downstream of the fluid compressor; an aftercooler (274) configured to cool compressed air downstream of the fluid compressor; a controller operable for determining a target temperature of a compressed working fluid discharged from the compressor; a control valve (281) operably coupled to the controller and in fluid communication with the oil cooler; and wherein the control valve controls an oil flow rate through the oil cooler such that oil is supplied to the compressor at a predetermined temperature effective to produce compressed working fluid at the target temperature. The corresponding method of controlling the temperature of the working fluid discharged by the fluid compressor is also disclosed.
