    摘要: A writing implement (1) wherein the outer circumferential surface of a crown outer cylindrical section (21) fits into the inner circumferential surface of a case (11) and the inner circumferential surface of a crown inner cylindrical section (22) fits into the outer circumferential surface of an attachment body (12). Accordingly, even if a stress acts on the crown (5), for example, in a direction in which the shaft center of the crown (5) is inclined relative to the shaft center of the case (11), the stress is pushed, for example, against the inner circumferential surface of the case (11) and the outer circumferential surface of the attachment body (12), respectively, with the outer end of the case (11) acting as a fulcrum. Sufficient attachment strength can be ensured compared to, for example, when using only the inner circumferential surface of the crown inner cylindrical section (22) to fit to the attachment body (12). In addition, an annular space (27) is formed in the crown (5), between the inner circumferential surface of the crown outer cylindrical section (21) and the outer circumferential surface of the crown inner cylindrical section (22). Air will flow through the annular space (27) even if, for example, the cap (2) becomes stuck in the bronchial tubes of an infant as a result of being accidentally swallowed by the infant. Suffocation accidents can, therefore, be reliably prevented.

The projection is located lower than an engaging portion (43) and movable along the longitudinal direction between the engaging portion (43) and the leading end of the pen shaft (3). A notch (55) is so formed in a base-end surface of the base end portion as to extend in the upper direction, and the projection (53) undergoes such an elastic deformation as to narrow the width of the notch (55), thereby narrowing a maximum width of the projection (53).
