    摘要: The aim of the invention is to sink sections, especially in underground coal mining. To this end, a the cutting device (17) of a sinking machine (1) consists of two swing rollers (19, 20) which are arranged vertically and pivotally and which are linked to the machine frame (10) via supporting arms (21). The machine frame (10) also serves as a skewback. Said swing rollers (19, 20) are height-adjustable. The convergence-related elevations (7) are cut from the gallery end (6) in the direction of the centre of the section and are simultaneously delivered onto the conveyor (8) by means of the swing rollers (19, 20) that operate in different directions. In a preferred and advantageous embodiment, the dimensions of the sinking machine (1) are small in comparison with the cutting forces and the requisite restoring forces of the cutting device (17).
