The efficacy of a multistage ejector pump is considerably improved by flow guiding profiles (1, 2, 3; 4) inserted into the flow channel (17, 17', 17'). The flow guiding profiles consist of one or several adjacent and/or successive profiles which on the one hand reduce the turbulence resulting from the mixture of the substance to be conveyed with the pump fluid and consequent damages to subsequent pump stages, and on the other hand help to reduce the residual energy of the pump fluid. The flow guiding profiles are designed in such a way that they can be used both in so-called flat channel pumps and in radial ejector pumps. The flow guiding profiles can further be assembled with corresponding segments of the ejector pump housing and profiles into ejector pump modules capable of being produced in a single piece and of being assembled with other similar modules into pumps having the desired capacity.

The gap of each ejector member (7, 8, 9) can be adjusted suitably by adjusting means (F, G). Therefore, the absorption efficiency of the ejector (5) can be freely adjusted over a wide range. Since a center rod of a prior art apparatus does not exist, the ejector (5) has a simple structure as a whole and is moreover compact.

The present invention relates summarily to a multi-ejector device with at least one ejector part (2) including at least one array of ejector jets (18, 19, 20) placed one after the other in the ejector part (2). Under the action of compressed air flowing through them, the jets (18, 19, 20) generate a subpressure in chambers (11, 12) connected to the jets. The chambers (11, 12) are in communication via openings (13, 15, 17) provided with non-return valves (14, 16) with a vacuum collection chamber (9), to which the tool or the like driven by the ejector device is connected. The ejector part (2) is an element in the shape of a plate formed by moulding or in some other way, where the ejector jets (18, 19, 20) and the valve chambers (11, 12) are formed integrally in the plate-like piece. The ejector part (2) is suitably parallel epipedic in shape, with pairs of arrays of jets (18, 19, 20) extending lengthwise through it, with each array ajacent the long side of said part and the vacuum collection chamber (9) placed between two jets (19).

L'adjonction d'une électrovanne commandée (20) en amont du générateur de vide à effet venturi permet en outre un gain énergétique en consommation d'air comprimé.
