Abstract:
The operator interface device for an HMI system provides for generic, simple communication between Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software and an operator workstation. The device has at least one signaling device (54), at least one serial communication port (42), and an Ethernet port mounted on a housing (32, 46). Disposed within the housing is electronic circuitry that includes a micro controller (36) having embedded Ethernet capability. The micro controller is configured to pass serial data from a bar code reader, RFID receiver, or the like from the serial communication port (42) via Ethernet by TCP/IP to the HMI software (38) on a remote server, and to control driver (s) (40) for the at least one signaling device (54), which may be a beacon, a light, a horn or other audio device, or a push button switch (52). The device may also include a power supply (56) and mini connector port (30) for passing signals between a machine controller, such as a torque controller, and the HMI software.
Abstract:
A method for forwarding data between a plurality of provider Ethernet networks in the technical field of Ethernet is provided. The first provider Ethernet network is the provider Ethernet network that the first data package passes firstly when it is transmitted from the first client network to the second client network. And the second provider Ethernet network is the last provider Ethernet network that the first data package passes. The method includes the following steps. When the first data package is transmitted between the first provider Ethernet network and the second provider Ethernet network, the network addresses of the first and second provider Ethernet networks are used respectively as the source and destination addresses of the outer MAC head of the data package encapsulation. When the first data package arrives at the second provider Ethernet network, the second provider Ethernet network decapsulates it, and forwards the decapsulated data package to the second client network. A system for forwarding data between a plurality of provider Ethernet networks is also provided. By the provided technical projects, it is unnecessary to set complex mapping relations, and the establishment of inter-domain path is simplified, and the implementation is simpler.
Abstract:
A system and method for managing wireless vehicular communications include a system and method for vehicle protocol conversion. The system and method for vehicle protocol conversion have the ability to receive messages through a vehicle bus connector according to a vehicle bus protocol, analyze the messages to determine whether they should be transmitted, and transmit the messages over a wireless link if they should be transmitted.
Abstract:
A relay apparatus (100) receives data from a first device (106, 103, 104) via a first network (105, 170, 140). The relay apparatus then receives a first request from a second device (102) via a second network (150, 160, 180), and sends a second request to the first network in accordance with the first request. Then, the relay apparatus sends, to the second device via the second network, data received from the first device prior to the first request being received, in accordance with the first request and a communication condition.
Abstract:
A transferring apparatus for allowing a control apparatus to control, in a parallel manner, a controlled apparatus from a plurality of sites, comprising first receiver means (111) for receiving data from a first line (1); second receiver means (121) for receiving data from a second line (2); a line interface (101) for transmitting data to and receiving data from a relay line; first transmitter means (112) for transmitting data to the second line (2); first collision detector means (113) for detecting any data on the second line (2); first transmission control means (114) for controlling the transmission of data to the second line (2); second transmitter means (122) for transmitting data to the first line (1); second collision detector means (123) for detecting any data on the first line (1); and second transmission control means (124) for controlling the transmission of date to the first line (1).
Abstract:
A relay communication system includes a relay server R that can communicate with a relay server R in another LAN through an external server S in a WAN. The relay server R stores account information of client terminals T in the LAN, relay group information 100 on a group of relay servers R, and shared resource information 120 including a resource and accounts of the client terminals T sharing the resource. When receiving an operation command of a resource held by a client terminal T in a different LAN from a client terminal T in the LAN, the relay server R relays an operation of the resource on the basis of the relay group information 100 and the shared resource information 120.
