摘要: A packet processing method, performed by a network interface card of a computer device. The method includes: The network interface card receives a first packet and determines a type of the first packet, and then performs a first bypass processing operation on the first packet based on the type of the first packet. Therefore, a part of packets are not processed by a kernel. In other words, processing of a part of packets bypasses a bloated kernel, thereby improving packet processing efficiency, improving network transmission performance, and reducing a network access delay.

摘要: A legacy device bridge for use in a network, such as a wired or wireless residential network, is provided. The legacy device bridge performs protocol conversion to enable a network-attached entity that uses a packet-based communication protocol to communicate with and control legacy devices, such as consumer electronics, that rely exclusively on infrared (IR) or serial communication protocols. The legacy device bridge also performs a virtualization function that allows legacy devices to be advertised to the network as devices that comply with a packet-based discovery and control protocol, and to be controlled as such. The legacy device bridge is also adapted to probe, deduce and publish information relating to the state of a legacy device to other entities on the network.

The data transmission method includes: when a current condition meets a condition for handing over user equipment from a cell in which a first network side device is located to a cell in which a second network side device is located, sending, by the first network side device, first information to the second network side device, where the first information includes at least one of a congestion window CWND, a slow start threshold, a window scale factor, a receiver window RWND, and a Transmission Control Protocol TCP segment length; the slow start threshold is a value of demarcation between a slow start state and a congestion state; the window scale factor is a window scale factor carried in a synchronization SYN packet when a TCP connection is set up; the RWND is a maximum data volume that can be received by the user equipment; and the TCP segment length is a length of a maximum TCP segment that can be sent by the first network side device. Service continuity can be ensured by implementing the embodiments of the present invention.

摘要: Embodiments of the present application provide an IP address acquisition method and apparatus. In the method, a network side device receives a request message of a first protocol sent by a terminal, and returns a web page including scripting language code to the terminal based on the request message, so that the terminal establishes a communication connection to the network side device by running the scripting language code, and determines a first IP address of the terminal by using the communication connection. In the IP address acquisition method, the network side device can determine an authentic IP address of an access terminal, and improve the authenticity and accuracy of the determined authentic IP address, thereby improving accuracy of other information processing that needs to be performed based on a terminal IP address.

摘要: In general, the invention is directed to techniques for establishing secure connections with devices residing behind a security device. In accordance with the techniques, a managed device initiates a transmission control protocol (TCP) session to establish a TCP session with a management device such that the management device acts as the TCP server and the managed device acts as a TCP client. Once established, the managed device sends a role reversal message specifying an identity of the managed device via the TCP session. Upon receiving the role reversal message, the management device initiates a secure connection over the TCP session in accordance with a secure protocol such that the management device acts as the secure protocol client and the managed device acts as the secure protocol server. By properly establishing the secure session, each of the devices assumes the proper roles and administrators may more easily configure the devices.
