    摘要: The invention relates to a spur wheel camshaft drive for an internal combustion engine comprising a crankshaft timing gear and a camshaft pulley (120) and at least one intermediate gearwheel arranged therebetween. The gearwheels of the spur wheel camshaft drive are each provided with a hub (124) and a gear ring (122). The camshaft pulley (120), the crankshaft timing gear and/or at least one of the intermediate wheels are configured in such a way that the respective gear ring (122) can be turned against the respective hub (124) around a predetermined angle. A readjusting device (126) is provided between the hub (124) and the gear ring (122). Said readjusting device (126) exerts a readjusting force onto said hub (124) and said gear ring (122) according to torsion.

    摘要: A drive plate (E) for an automotive vehicle for transmitting a torque from a crankshaft (6) to a torque converter (7), while absorbing a thrust load applied from the torque converter to the crankshaft is formed with: a central mount portion (11) for mounting a crankshaft; an outer gear (20) formed in an outermost circumference of the drive plate; a plurality of weight reducing holes (30) formed between the central mount portion and the outer gear at regular angular intervals; and a plurality of the outer mount portions (12) for mounting a torque converter (7) formed near an outer circumference of the drive plate at regular angular intervals. In particular, the outer mount portions (12) are formed in such a way as to project radially inward from the outer gear (20) into the weight reducing holes (30), respectively. Since the virtual bending radius (deformation length L) of the drive plate can be increased, the bending angle (DA1) can be reduced when a thrust load is applied from the torque converter to the drive plate, so that it is possible to reduce a bending stress concentrated at the central mount portion (11) as small as possible, for prevention of the drive plate from being damaged.

    摘要: Cast iron gears, such as those used as cam gears on engines and as used for fuel injection gear pumps, which have a hub (2) and a rim (3) that are thick in comparison to the relatively thin web (5) used to interconnect the hub (2) with the rim (3) and a process by which such iron gears can be cast, especially in a vertical orientation. To eliminate porosity problems, single flow channel of substantial thickness is incorporated into the mold cavity which forms a flow rib (10) that runs radially between the hub (2) and rim (3) of the gear (1) being formed. To compensate for both the added weight of the rib (10) that is produced on the web (5) of the resultant gear (1), as well as to counterbalance the effect caused by the presence of a single rib (10), at least one opening (12) is formed in the web (5) at each side of the rib (10).
