An in-mold decorated molded product, wherein coated layers covering the edge parts thereof adjacent to the side faces thereof on which the traces of side gates are formed are formed on at least the upper surface of a transparent molded resin body so that the traces of the side gates are not visible from the upper surface side, and decorative layers are formed on the surface of the transparent molded resin body on the opposite sides of the coated layers. Thus, even if the molded resin body is transparent and the traces of the side gates cannot be neatly treated, the unattractively looking traces of side gates are made invisible and the designability thereof can be maintained.
