摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for very accurately metering a quantity by weight of food for being supplied to small livestock, such as poultry, which small livestock is present in a number of cages (1) placed one behind the other. The outflow of food from a food hopper (6) filled with food, can be stop the moment when is determined that the receiving trough (13) contains a sufficient quantity of food.
This quantity of food corresponds to a certain desired quantity of food per animal multiplied by the number of animals to be fed. After the receiving trough (13) has been filled it is emptied for example into a feed trough (2). The preference the device is provided with a sensor (29) or the like which can scan an indicator (30) which can be fastened to a cage (1), which indicator (30) emits a signal indicating the number of animals present in that cage (1).

摘要: Playing or games board on which several games or the like can be played and which playing board consists of a skeleton or framework in which a number of bodies (3) are fixed. Said bodies are fixed so as to be rotatable about an axis (15) of rotation, and each element or body (3) has a number of faces (7, 8, 9) directed outwards which can be mutually changed in position by rotation of the body (3). Each face of an element has a different image or picture or the same image (10, 11) but of a different colour. In the preferred embodiment of the games board any cross section through an element parallel to the axis of rotation (15) is rectangular and any cross section perpendicular to the axis of rotation (15) is an isosceles triangle.

摘要: @ A turning-mechanism consisting of a case 1, in which a transmission at an angle of 90 degrees is borne and which by means of for instance a guiding-case 5 with a slot-hole 5b in it, is horizontally adjustable, thus making it possible to adjust the turning-shaft by means of for instance the wedge-shaped teeth 2a, this in such a way that the centre of the turning-shaft is in line with the centre of the turning-points of the existing shutters.
Following the installation of the turning-mechanism (mostly between the two existing hinges) the so-called "third hinge" (as far as shape is concerned identical to the existing hinges) is mounted, after which the shutters can be opened, closed or fastened in any desired position from indoors by means of a service-handle which is shoven on the driving-shaft 3.

摘要: A method for determining the hydrogen content of a person's expiratory air comprising the following steps: leading the air through a sample-holder (4) sampling the air by closing the outlet (5) and inlet (1) of the sample-holder, and determining the hydrogen content by driving slowly at a fixed rate and overpressure the gas-sample through the detector (11). The detector used is sensitive for gas and smoke and determines the hydrogen-content by means of diffusion. Before a gas-sample is passed through the detector, during a predetermined minimum time-period air is passed through the sample-holder and detector. During the time expiratory-air is leaded through the sample-holder, air is leaded through the detector at a fixed rate.

摘要: Counting mechanism for a flow meter for measuring a stream of gas or liquid, provided with a rotational shaft which is driven in rotation by the stream to be measured, for example with the aid of a paddle wheel or a rotary piston, on which rotary shaft one or more counting wheels are arranged. Each counting wheel is divided along the circumference into a number of segments, a number of sensors being placed around the circumference of each counting wheel at a distance apart which is such that each of the sensors lies opposite a different segment of the counting wheel. The sensors transmit a different signal for some of the segments than for the other segments. The positioning of the sensors and the segments is such that each position of the counting wheel gives a different combination of signals transmitted by the sensors. Some of the segments are magnetic, while the other segments are non-magnetic, and the sensors are magnetic sensors.

摘要: Method for the treatment of waste water in which the waste water undergoes various processes, such as anaerobic processes, anoxic processes and aerobic processes. The processes are carried out with the aid of a population of bacteria which mainly consists of denitrifying phosphate-removing bacteria, or DPBs, with the composition of the sludge water in the various processes being maintained in such a state, by means of return flows of the sludge water to previous processes, that the DBP population achieves an optimum size. Waste water is treated by means of an anaerobic process in which the waste water is mixed with sludge water originating from an anoxic digester, with the sludge water being divided into phosphate-rich water and sludge water, to be processed separately, after which the sludge water is added to a mixing tank or contact tank, with aerobically treated sludge from a secondary sedimentation tank being added in order to improve the sedimentation properties of sludge present in the sludge water. The sludge water then goes through anoxic processes, after which part of the sludge water goes through aerobic processes while another part of the sludge water is returned from the anoxic process to the anaerobic process and goes through the previous processes again. Part of the sludge water which has gone through the aerobic processes is then returned to the anoxic process, while another part of the sludge water is conveyed to a secondary sedimentation tank, in which the sludge is separated by sedimentation into sludge and purified water or effluent.
