    摘要: Provided is a method for attaching a tire pressure sensor (15) to a vehicle tire (16), where an adhesive region is exposed on a tire pressure sensor, and the tire pressure sensor is attached to a tire. The adhesive region is made of a first and second adhesive, where the first adhesive has a short cure time, and the second adhesive has a cure time longer than that of said first adhesive, and an adhesive strength greater than that of said first adhesive. Also provided is an adhesive system for a tire pressure sensor, where an adhesion surface on the tire pressure sensor is made of an outer perimeter and an inner region. The first adhesive has a short cure time, while the second adhesive has a long cure time and an adhesive strength greater than that of the first adhesive. Also provided is a tire sensor that can be mounted to a vehicle wheel, where the tire sensor includes a housing including an adhesion surface, with adhesive material disposed upon the adhesion surface. The adhesive material includes a first, relatively fast curing adhesive and a second, relatively strong operating adhesive. The first adhesive area retains the tire sensor during mounting on a mounting surface of the wheel while the second adhesive area cures to a relatively strong adhesive strength.

    摘要: An apparatus for detecting motion of a wheel comprising tyre. The apparatus comprises a pressure sensor for measuring the tyre pressure and generating a signal corresponding to the measured tyre pressure, and means for detecting a component of said signal that corresponds to, or is generated by, vibrations of the tyre. Upon detection of the signal component, the apparatus determines that the wheel is in motion.     摘要: A system which monitors a vehicle's tire pressures and displays real-time pressure values on a dashboard display while the vehicle is on the road. An electronic unit (100) mounted to the valve stem inside each tire uses a pressure sensor (120) to periodically measure the tire pressure, and uses a transmitter (170) to transmit the measured pressure values, via RF transmission, to a dashboard mounted receiver. The receiver controls a display which indicates to the driver the real-time tire pressure in each wheel. The display also indicates an alarm condition when the tire pressure falls below certain predefined thresholds. The pressure values are compensated for temperature changes inside the tire, and also may be compensated for altitude changes.

    摘要: Disclosed is an improvement in an extendable elongate liquid-applying device (10) of the type used for cleaning interior walls and ceilings. The improvement includes first (13) and second (31) tubular members telescoped together and slideable relative to one another to extend and retract the device. One of the members has a proximal end (15); the other has a distal end (33) and an attached angularly-oriented nozzle (11). A continuous length of coiled flexible hose (19) extends within the members and connects to the nozzle member. That is, the hose extends unbroken along the lengths of the members, from the proximal end to the distal end, to provide discharge from the nozzle member regardless of the relative positions of the members. A separate base member (11) plugs into the proximal end and has a valve (87) for controlling liquid flow. With a nozzle attached thereto, the base member can be used alone for "close in" cleaning.
