    摘要: A cursor display control in a graphic display system is provided in which a storage range is provided for exclusive use for a cursor pattern and a desired shape is defined in the storage range to thereby perform a high-speed cursor movement. A display control apparatus in the graphic display system includes a memory (510, 520) for storing a cursor pattern, shift register (530) for performing a shift processing in a non-display period of the cursor for positioning in the display screen, and parallel-serial converter (101, 103) for performing parallel to serial conversion at the display timing of the cursor, whereby the apparatus is suitable to be integrated in the form of an LSI and the cursor can be moved at a high speed on the screen.

    摘要: Herein disclosed is a graphic data processing system comprising: an image memory (l2) for storing a character pattern as font data composed of binary informations and for displaying the graphic data of the character pattern; first and second color registers (l407, l408) for holding color informations corresponding respectively to the "O" and "l" signals of the font data stored in the image memory (l2); data extending means (l402, l4l5) for ex­tending the one bit of the font data, which are stored in the image memory (l2), for one word into n bits on the basis of the bit number n composing one pixel; a multi­plexer (l409) for multiplexing the color informations, which are latched in the first and second color registers (l407, l408), independently at respectively corresponding bit units on the basis of the data extended by the data extending means; and means (l4l0) for masking and writing the data of the one word, which are multiplexed by the multiplexer, as the graphic data at the bit units in the image memory, whereby a plurality of pixels in one word are processed simultaneously in parallel.

    摘要: Disclosed is a font pattern processor (GDP) including font pattern storing means (FPT1) for defining a font pattern and font pattern access parameter storing means (FDR) for storing parameters for making access to this font pattern storing means (FPT1). Address calculation is made on the basis of the font pattern access parameter and a pattern code supplied from outside to indicate a font pattern. The font pattern processor (GDP) can include pattern drawing attribute indicating means (FAR) for indicating the attributes of pattern drawing by the font pattern data thus read out. Thus, the present invention can process predeter­mined font data at a high speed inside it on the basis of the pattern code and can easily accomplish diversification of font patterns. Furthermore, the invention can improve freedom of pattern drawing on the basis of a predetermined original font pattern.
