    摘要: The panel 1 comprises a steel skin or backing tray (2) and an external steel skin (3) with a layer of foam insulation material (4) such as a phenolic or polyurethane based foam material therebetween. One of the skins, in this case the external skin 3 has a plurality of mountings for fixing cladding elements such as tiles (5) to the panel to form a cladding. The mountings comprise rails (10) and fasteners (12) for fastening the rails (10) to the external skin (3). Each fastener (12) comprises an internal clamping sleeve (15) and a bolt (16). A hole is first drilled through the skin (3) and the sleeve (15) is inserted. On tightening of the bolt (16), the sleeve (15) splays and is clamped against the inside surface of the external skin (3), and the rails (10) are fixed to the panels. To enhance the peel strength of the composite panel a layer (30) of an adhesive is applied to the internal face of the external skin (3). The adhesive layer (30) is a pre-lay-down adhesive which is compatible with the material of the insulting core (4). The use of such an adhesive greatly enhances the peel strength of the panel and enables the panel to carry the additional load of the cladding tiles.

    摘要: A composite roof panel for flat or low pitch roofs comprises a generally flat external sheet (2), a profiled internal decking sheet (3), and an insulating core (4) between the external sheet (2) and internal sheet (3). The external sheet (2) has an external male projecting part (10) and an internal recess part (11) on one side for engagement, on assembly, with a corresponding external recess part (12) and projecting inner male part (13) respectively on the opposite side of the panel. At least a portion of the side edges (21, 22) of the insulating core (4) between the joint forming portions of the external sheet and internal lining sheet has an inclined wedge profile. The inclined wedge profiles of the side edges (21, 22) of the insulating core (4) form oppositely directed wedge faces. A side edge (22) of the insulating core (4) of one panel (20A) is matched with the opposite side edge (21) of an adjacent panel (20B). On assembly, a first overlap portion (30) of the panel receives a second overlap portion (31) of the adjacent panel. A joint reinforcing plate (40) has a downwardly extending locator defined by a projection (41) which is located in a gap (35) at the joint to ensure that the reinforcing plate (40) is accurately positioned relative to the joint. The plate (40) has holes (42, 43) to receive joint fasteners (44, 45).

    摘要: An insulated wall panel comprises a profiled external sheet (2), an internal lower sheet (3), and an insulating core between the sheets (2, 3). The internal lining sheet (3) has an inner recess part (30) and an outer male projecting part (31) on one side and a corresponding inner projecting male part (32) and outer recess (33) on the opposite sides. The internal joint between adjacent internal sheets is sealed by a seal (35). A fixing pin (40) may be extended through the overlapping internal sheets (3).
