    摘要： Des couplages de table pour coupler des vérins hydrauliques (20) à des tables (10) à grandes secousses (22), par exemple des tables de simulation de tremblements de terre, sont préchargés sous pression gazeuse pour leur permettre d'être des couplages porteurs sans tension, qui à leur tour permettent l'utilisation de coussinets glissants hydrostatiques (47) entre les surfaces latérales et la surface de fond de la table et les vérins. Les coussinets hydrostatiques (47) réduisent eux le besoin de bras articulés, d'articulations et d'étriers qui portent à la fois la tension et la compression. L'utilisation d'une charge de compression seulement, semblable à celle que permet le présent dispositif, fait également disparaître le problème de la fabrication d'une fondation de table satisfaisante, puisque seules les charges de compression sont portées par la fondation et non les charges alternantes de tension et de compression.

    摘要： A fluid operated pressure oscillation generator of the type which comprises a housing (10) forming an outlet passage (16) and an inlet compartment (20) surrounding the outlet passage. An annular seat (11) is formed by the housing between the outlet passage and the inlet compartment, and a cover (13) detachably mounted to the housing, engages a diaphragm (12) at the periphery thereof to bias the diaphragm against the seat. An outlet (25; 30, 30a) for fluid opens into the outlet passage and faces away from the diaphragm, and means (24; 27) are provided for supplying fluid from the outside of the housing to said outlet.

    摘要： A method of operating a vibratory testing apparatus (10) is disclosed including providing a table frame (14) with at least one vibrator (20) attached thereto and attaching the at least one vibrator to a solenoid valve (24) wherein an input (28) of the solenoid valve is connected to a pneumatic air supply (12) and an output of the valve is connected to the vibrator. The solenoid valve is connected to a controller (23) and a first control signal is sent from the controller to the solenoid valve for opening the valve and allowing a first burst of air to the vibrator thereby causing the vibrator to vibrate the table frame at a first amplitude. Then a second control signal is sent from the controller to the solenoid valve for opening the valve and allowing a second burst of air to the vibrator thereby causing the vibrator to vibrate the table frame at a second amplitude.
