A freight container which, for loading freight therein, comprises a bottom, a roof, two end walls extending between the bottom and the roof, as well as two longitudinal side walls connected to said bottom and said roof, at least one end wall being provided with a hinged door comprising at least two door parts, which are each connected by means of hinge constructions on one side to a frame beam extending between the bottom and the roof, which door parts can be locked from outside by an operator, using locking means.

The ascending tube may be detachable from the body and it may comprise a tube part (3) and a base whose outer dimensions are larger than the tube part (3) seen in the axial direction of the tube part. On the exterior of the body (1), at least on one side thereof, it is possible to arrange transport mounts (13).

Bei einem Wassertank (T) aus Kunststoff, der unter Einsatz von mindestens zwei offenen, identischen Tankteilen (1) in einer Fügeebene (2) fügbar ist, die Öffnungsrandstrukturen (R) jeweils mit einem abgeflachten inneren Öffnungsrand, einem zur Fügeebene offenen Dichtungskanal (26), und einem äußeren, abgeflachten Öffnungsrand aufweisen, liegen in jeden Tankteilen (1, 35) in der Öffnungsrandstruktur die inneren und äußeren Öffnungsränder in der Fügeebene (2) und sind die Öffnungsränder als innere und äußere Passflächen (16, 17) jeweils mit einer die Stärke (X) der Tankteilwand (30) und der Dichtungskanalwand (34) mindestens um etwa die Hälfte übersteigenden Weite gestaltet, derart, dass der Wassertank (T) aus den Tankteilen (1,35) wahlweise durch dichtungsmittelfreies Schweißfügen der Passflächen (16, 17) monolithisch (M) oder durch Klammerungsfügen der Öffnungsrandstrukturen (R) mit Dichtungsmitteln (33) zwischen den Hälften (1) teilbar (G) erstellbar ist.

The present invention provides a transport system (10) for particular use in transporting and/or storing gas cylinders (44, 46) or the like, the system (10) comprising a number of stackable cages (14, 114) in which a plurality of the cylinders (44, 46) may be loaded, and an enclosure in the form of a vehicle trailer (12) onto which the cages (14, 114) may be quickly and easily loaded and secured as a result of an array of uprights (32) which are slidably mounted to the trailer (12) and lockable at any location therealong.
