    摘要: The invention relates to a pressure regulator for a fuel supply system of an internal combustion engine, provided for regulating a fuel pressure. Said pressure regulator contains a valve, which comprises a valve ball that, in a closed position, is pressed against a valve seat by the action of a valve leaf spring. The invention provides that, when the valve (20) is open, at least a portion of the fuel flowing around the valve ball (18) is directed against an impact surface (40; 44), which is coupled to the valve leaf spring (16), in order to produce a flow force that acts in a direction opposite that of the closing force of the valve leaf spring (16). This results in improving the pressure regulating behavior of the pressure regulator.

    摘要: A valve (10) with a tubular valve housing (11) containing a hydraulic fluid guiding body (13) arranged between the body of the valve (12) with a hollow cone-shaped seat (26) and an area (21) of the valve housing (11) receiving actuating means (14,17) pertaining to said valve (10). The guiding body (13) is penetrated by a closure element ( 30) of the valve (10) and separates the area (21) from an annular duct (36) which is connected to the seat (26) in order to circulate hydraulic fluid and connected to peripheral outlet openings (37) of the valve housing. The front face of the guiding body (13) rests on the body of the valve (12) and is supported thereon. It has guide ducts (39) that encroach upon the contours of valve seat and lead into the annular canal on the downstream side. The front end of the closure element (30) that interacts with the valve seat (26) forms a spherical segment which turns into the cylindrical shank (29) of the closure element with a sharp edge. The stream of hydraulic fluid leaving the valve seat (26) is diverted into the annular duct (36) by means of the guiding body (13), whereby variations in flow have practically no effect upon said area (21) of the valve.
