A cut-off mechanism severs the dough extrusions to deposit dough pieces on the conveyor. The speed of the conveyor is related to the speed of the cut-off mechanism so that the dough pieces produced by each extruder form a single uniformly spaced line. The extruders are fed from a common supply through individual inlets and means are provided to balance the flow through the nozzles.

A vertical household noodle maker, comprising: a base (1) with a motor, a stirring cup (2) connected to the base, a stirring rod (3), a dough kneading cylinder (6), a screw (4), a die head (5) and a control unit. The stirring rod is longitudinally disposed in the stirring cup, and comprises a rod body (31) and stirring teeth (32, 33) disposed in the rod body. The dough kneading cylinder is provided horizontally at one side below the stirring cup, and the screw is disposed in the dough kneading cylinder. The motor drives the stirring rod and the screw to rotate, and the bottom of the stirring cup is provided with a flour feeding opening (7) connected with the dough kneading cylinder. The inner wall of the stirring cup is provided with a noodle cutting rod (8), the noodle cutting rod at least partially overlapping with the projection of the stirring teeth in the horizontal direction when the stirring teeth rotate to a position of the noodle cutting rod under the driving force of the motor. The noodle maker leaves no residue, is easy to be fed with flour and has high efficiency.

A multi stage auger system providing removal of air and void spaces from semi-solid materials is provided that includes a motor (13) coupled to an auger drive shaft (14) and an electrical control panel (3) with a product hopper (12) with a first diameter opening tapering to a second smaller diameter opening and coupled to an auger tube (18) at the second smaller diameter opening. An auger entry spiral (15) with a generally helical shape and an at least one sweep arm (16) coupled to the auger entry spiral and driven by the motor, the auger entry spiral and the at least one sweep arm skimming inside the product hopper to entrain the semi-solid materials from the hopper wall and, through the helical shape of the auger entry spiral, moving the semi-solid materials through the hopper from the first diameter opening towards the second smaller diameter opening in an auger entry area within the hopper. During this entrainment and movement by the auger entry spiral and at least one sweep arm there is a space left between the auger entry spiral and the at least one sweep arm to remove air and voids from the semi-solid material through the entrainment and movement. The auger (11) coupled to the auger entry spiral (15) and the at least one sweep arm (16), the auger having a first section with a first coarse pitch (15.2) providing further removal of air and void spaces through movement and agitation and a second finer pitch (15.3) providing a further movement under higher pressures near an exit of the auger tube and a die member is also coupled to the exit of the auger tube.
