The invention relates to medicine. The essence of the invention lies in that a person is placed in a spatially isolated passenger cabin of a floating centre. The person permanently stays in said cabin during the number of days individually determined therefor. Said person is visually and spatially isolated. Stay conditions are based on ordinary living conditions of humans subjected to rigorous conditions and to additional test elements. At the same time, the conditions for improving the physical conditions of said person and the intellectual level thereof are provided. The conditions of the person are observed directly and remotely with the aid of sensors. The living conditions are gradually modified, thereby improving the fitness of the person. The superstructure of a vessel is embodied in an integral manner with the hull thereof and is provided with an enclosed-space area isolated from boards by longitudinal partitions and divided into four isolated sub-areas provided with cabins arranged therein. A glass promenade deck is disposed above the enclosed-space area. The cabins are arranged in each isolated area on abridged decks which are provided with a hallways arranged therebetween. The height of the hallway is equal to the total height of all decks having cabins.

A method of arranging cabin decks in a large passenger vessel comprising a deck building (2) to be arranged at least for the most part above the board of the actual hull (1) of the vessel, which deck building includes a number of cabin decks (3) on top of each other which are provided with movable cabin units (4) preferably as prefabricated as possible, and in which in the lateral direction of the vessel, in the middle section thereof, each cabin deck (3) is provided with a longitudinal space, in which is arranged at least one cabin corridor (5) and a technical space (6), where at least most of the vessel's heating, plumbing, ventilation and electrical installation and/or corresponding systems for the cabin units on the cabin deck in question are installed. The cabin units (4) are arranged in said longitudinal space on both sides thereof side by side in the longitudinal direction of the vessel according to the pitch of the decks' transverse bulkheads (7) so that the lower parts of the walls of the cabin unit (4) being parallel with the transverse bulkheads are attached to the deck (3) in conjunction with said transverse bulkheads. The upper parts of the walls of the cabin unit (4) are arranged between said transverse bulkheads and are provided with a recess (4a) or a similar space for the flange part (7a) of the transverse bulkheads. Said systems in the technical space (6) are connected to the cabin units (4) between said transverse bulkheads (7) by piping, ducts or cables, which are at least substantially transverse with respect to the vessel.

The invention relates to a method for modifying a room unit for a marine vessel or other corresponding structure, which room unit (1) is provided with wall portions (8), a roof portion and a floor portion in order to form a first space (2), and which room unit is provided with an arrangement for a second space (3). In order to be able to convert the room unit for different types of use in view of the prevailing circumstances, the room unit (1) is provided with a partition element arrangement (4), which when placed in a first position (A) separates the first space (2) and at least a part of the second space (3) to form a cabin unit (5) and a thereto attached balcony unit (6), and, which when placed in a second position (B) joins the first space (2) and the and at least a part of the second space (3) to form an integral cabin unit (7).

A mobile platform interior panel (10) is provided that includes a body (14) formed by a low pressure injection process and at least one of a duct (18) and a layer of insulation (22) integrated with the body. The low pressure injection process allows the duct (18) and insulation (22) to be integrated with the body (14) simultaneously with the forming of the panel (10). More specifically, the duct (18) is integrated with the panel (10) by forming at least one internal cavity within the panel as the panel (10) is formed. Additionally, the insulation (22) is integrated with the panel by forming the panel using a low pressure injection material having desired insulative properties.

So far living areas on boats have been constructed by individually mounting the cabins into the hull. This method is time-consuming and has a number of additional drawbacks that can be overcome by constructing the living area, particularly for offshore use, on board the boat. A shell (11), a bulkhead, and a deck (13, 14) with vertically extending reinforcement elements (16, 28) are used to make a load-carrying structure. A cabin block (18, 21, 27) which has been prepared outside the structure and comprises several cabins (19) placed on top of and/or next to each other is mounted into the structure that has been left open on one side, and is fixed to the frame beam (16). Supply lines and disposal lines for the cabins (19) are hooked to the cabin block (18, 21, 27) via a joint connection.

The invention comprises a transport arrangement (10) for cabin elements in ships or the lik, which arrangement requires less space than the cabin (16) arranged to be formed thereof. The transport arrangement (10) comprises two basic cabin elements (12,14) and means to join them into a finished cabin (16). Both basic cabin elements (12,14) comprise at least one side wall (24,26) and a part of the roof (28a, 28b). A part (30) of one end wall is detached from the basic cabin elements (12,14) along substantially its entire vertical dimension. In the transport arrangement (10) the basic cabin elements (12,14) are arranged in a staggered manner, so that the side walls (24,26) of the cabin are a staggered distance (L) closer to each other than in a finished cabin (16).

After a deck (62) is constructed on a ship, and before the next deck (64) above it is constructed, prefabricated cabin modules (50) are lifted by a crane from a pier, carried over the ship's hull (18), and deposited directly by the crane substantially at their final locations in a row (60) spaced from the hull. Before the cabins are completed by the erection of wall elements (70) that extend from the prefabricated cabin modules toward the hull, workers can attend to the construction of the overlying deck (64), and easily carry out the welding and outfitting operations needed to secure the overlying deck to the hull. Furnishings and fixtures (32, 34, 36, 38) for each cabin are concentrated and fixed within the prefabricated cabin modules, so that at least approximately 80 % of the cabin construction labor is carried out ashore in the prefabrication process.
