A compacting container (1) is arranged for compresssing cellulose-containing waste, particularly paper and cardboard. At one end, the container has a filling opening which can be closed by a door (4) by means of pulling hydraulic cylinders (10). The door is suspended pivotably about a horizontal axis (5) at the lower edge of the door and at the bottom of the container. The container (2) comprises a compression means (22) mounted at the filling end, extending across the interior of the container and is suspended by one side edge on a shaft (24) traversing the container at a beam (26). The paper waste is filled into the open container (10) which is constituted by the door (8) and its side edges (12), and when this 'container' (10) is sufficiently full, the compression means (22) is activated as respective cylinders (28) pivot the transverse compression means (22) down against the paper waste, whereby a shovelling is almost performed into the container (2) while simultaneously the door (8) is drawn in against the open end of the container, whereby the paper waste is compressed in the interior of the container. By these measures there may be achieved a far greater degree of utilisation of the container volume compared with prior art, and the pressing force may furthermore be reduced, so that simple location of the pulling cylinders (14) along the container sides may be used.

A sealed insulating glass unit comprising two glass panes (1) spaced apart by at least one spacer element (2) is provided with a lip sealing system including a gas impervious film strip (8), e.g. of metal or a laminate. The film strip (8) is connected to glass panes (1) and to the spacer element (2), respectively, by butyl-containing adhesive sealant (4). The invention also comprises a separate spacer element with lip seal or flexible gas sealing for an insulating glass unit. The strip (8) allows mutual angular and linear displacements of glass panes (1) and spacer element (2), thereby relieving the adhesive sealant (4) from mechanical loads to a great extent, consequently avoiding cracks in the sealant (4) without compromising sealing against moisture/gas exchange between the interior of the glass unit and the ambient atmosphere. Also, the sealing system provides possibility of increasing the gap (12) between pane (1) and spacer (2), possibly filling with a thermal insulating material (14) and thus improving the otherwise inferior thermal insulation of the edge of the glass unit.

A stable equipment system for e.g. pig pens and boxes comprises a U-shaped edge section (3), the longitudinal members (9) of which have a bending (10) close to their free edges (11). Thereby, a line of contact may be formed between edges (11) and surface (12) of wall or gate elements (2) and with filler elements in the sections (3), whereby gaping openings, which may give rise to dirt deposits and bacterial growth, are avoided. A better stable hygiene is thereby achieved.

The security grating further comprises a vertical frame section (6) at each side edge. The frame section (6) has a U-section (9) with a recess (10) with a depth that may accommodate a bushing (14) provided at the end of a horizontal grating bar (4) or a vertical grating bar (5). The U-section (9) is closed by a hinged lid (11). Hereby a net may always be cut off so that the outermost vertical bar or a bushing is situated in the recess (10). As there is only need for small space in the recess (10), there are no narrow requirements to the width of the frame for mounting the security grating (1).

The peculiar feature of the invention is a plurality of discharge duct means (19,20) evenly distributed at a distance from the gas supply means (15,14). Thereby a more safe removal of atmospheric oxygen from the enclosure (17) created by the device is ensured, thus improving the quality of the welding and reducing protective gas consumption in the welding process.

A plant for the purification of rinsing water containing sludge from painting processes with different types of lacquer, where the water is treated with chemicals for the separation of the sludge, is provided with a sloping bottom (30) and with vertical, liquid stabilizing slats (34) in the sludge processing vessel (8). In the lowermost part of the bottom there is an outlet (32) where concentrated sludge can be led out to a wet filter plant (2), where the sludge is distributed via branch pipes (40) to a number of filter bags (38). Depending on a control system, valves in the branch pipes (40) can for short periods, e.g. 3 seconds, open for the supply of sludge to each bag (38), and thereafter be closed for a longer period to allow for the seeping through of liquid to a collection tray (42). The water in the tray (42) can be led away for reuse. With the invention, there can easily occur a separation of lacquer particles which, as with known methods, do not rise to the surface in the vessel (8) and are thereafter removed. It is thus possible to process rinsing water which contains different types of lacquer.
