The invention concerns cosmetic preparations having oil-restoring properties and containing: (a) monoglyceride (ether) sulphates and (b) fatty acid partial glycerides. The mixtures exhibit particularly high dermatological tolerance whilst having optimum oil-restoring properties. In addition, the preparations are fluid at room temperature, so that they can also be processed in the cold state. A further advantage is that the mixtures build up viscosity in surfactant systems.

The invention relates to a method for the durable shaping of keratin fibres, in which the fibres are treated with an aqueous preparation of a keratin-reducing substance before and/or after mechanical shaping. Once the substance has taken effect, the fibres are rinsed with a first rinse and then fixed with an aqueous preparation of an oxidation agent. Once said oxidation agent has taken effect, the fibres are rinsed again. The method is characterised in that an aqueous preparation of the keratin-reducing substance and/or the oxidation agent is used, containing (a) 0.1 to 20 % by weight of alkoxylated carboxylic acid esters and (b) 0.1 to 20 % by weight of fatty acid partial glycerides, with the proviso that the quantities indicated, together with the addition of water and optionally additional auxiliary agents and additives amount to 100 % by weight.

The invention relates to a novel method for producing neutral sugar surfactant granulates, wherein aqueous alkaline-adjusted pastes containing a) alkyloligolycosides and/or alkenyloligoglycosides and/or (b) fatty acid N alkylpolyhydroxyalkyamides with a solids content of at least 20 wt. per cent are simultaneously dried in a horizontally arranged thin-layer evaporator or dryer with rotating fixtures until a residual water content of less than 2 wt. per cent is obtained and they are transformed into pieces. The inventive method is characterized in that the sugar surfactant pastes are neutralized immediately before entering the thin-layer apparatus. The products are characterized by a specially high color quality and storage stability.
