    摘要: A method, an apparatus, and a computer-readable medium for wireless communication are provided. In one aspect, an apparatus is configured transmit, to a set of stations, a trigger frame that indicates a set of RUs for uplink and/or downlink transmission available to each station of the set of stations. The trigger frame may be a request for feedback on the set of RUs from each station. The apparatus may be configured to receive from each station a response frame over an uplink resource based on the transmitted trigger frame. The response frame may include the feedback on the set of RUs and may be received independent of a channel condition associated with the uplink resource. The feedback may be an ordered list of RUs based on the set of RUs.

In one aspect, a method of communicating via a wireless medium by a wireless communications apparatus within a network is provided. The method includes determining first and second contention windows. The first contention window begins earlier than the second contention window. The method further includes beginning a first carrier sense multiple access (CSMA) countdown at the start of the first contention window. The method further includes beginning a second CSMA countdown when the first CSMA countdown does not end before the start of the second contention window. The method further includes transmitting the prepared frame at a time of the first CSMA countdown ending or the second CSMA countdown ending, whichever is earlier.

    摘要: Techniques for reducing delay in scheduling traffic transmission in an overlapping basic service set (OBSS) environment by modifying backoff mechanisms are disclosed. In some examples, a device (e.g., station (STA) or access point (AP)) may decode at least a portion of a preamble of a received packet to determine whether the packet is sent by a member of an OBSS (e.g., STA or AP from a different BSS). Backoff operations are typically deferred as a result of the decoding. Aspects of the present disclosure provide a method, apparatus, and system to reduce delay in scheduling traffic transmissions by resuming the backoff operations prior to expiration of the period reserved for an OBSS packet by the network allocation vector (NAV). In other words, the device may not honor the NAV of the OBSS packet, and instead perform spatial reuse by transmitting another packet (or signal) on the same frequency channel during the NAV of the OBSS packet.
