The air conditioner includes a first expansion valve on a liquid line of a first outdoor heat-exchanger, a second expansion valve on a liquid line of a second outdoor heat-exchanger, a first connection line to connect a suction line to one port of the first 4-way valve, the suction line connecting a suction port of the compressor and an indoor heat-exchanger unit, a second connection line to connect the suction line to one port of the second 4-way valve, and a check valve provided on the second connection line to allow flow of refrigerant only from the second 4-way valve to the suction line.

    摘要: The present invention provides an air-conditioning system and a four-way valve control method for the air-conditioning system which can ensure switching of a four-way valve. A four-way valve control method for an air-conditioning system equipped with a refrigerant circuit which includes a compressor adapted to compress and discharge a refrigerant and a four-way valve driven by pilot pressure and adapted to switch a flow path for the refrigerant discharged from the compressor includes the steps of: adjusting rotational speed of the compressor (S2); closing off an on-off valve (S3) installed on a bypass route in the refrigerant circuit only for a fixed period of time when the rotational speed of the compressor reaches a predetermined first rotational speed or when the rotational speed of the compressor is being increased; and causing the four-way valve to perform a switching operation (S4) after the on-off valve is closed off for the fixed period of time.

    摘要: A multi type air conditioner comprises: an outdoor unit (10) including an outdoor heat exchanger (12) heat-exchanged with the outdoor air, a compressor (14) compressing a refrigerant, and a first four-way valve (16) and a second four-way valve (18) switching a refrigerant flow path; indoor units (20) performing at least one of cooling operation and heating operation; and a distributor (30) including a low pressure pipe (50) connected between the first four-way valve (16) and each of the indoor units (20), a high pressure pipe (52) connected between the second four-way valve (18) and each of the indoor units (20), and a refrigerant pipe (32) connected between the outdoor heat-exchanger (12) and each of the indoor units (20). Accordingly, flow resistance of a refrigerant is reduced in heating operation, thereby improving heating performance and heating efficiency, and the amount of refrigerant accumulated within a high pressure pipe (52) is minimized in cooling operation, thereby improving cooling performance and cooling efficiency.

    摘要: A control system for a reversible heat pump includes a system controller which polls the heating or cooling demands of zone controllers associated with a series of heat exchangers downstream of the heat pump. The system controller is operative to configure the heat pump in response to which of the demands is dominant . The system controller is also operative to change the configuration of the heat pump in response to a change in dominant demand. The implemented change in heat pump configuration is preferably premised on the temperature of water returned to the heat pump being within a predefined range of temperature . The return water temperature requirement may be overriden by the system controller if an acceptable period of time for allowing the returning water temperature to reach an acceptable temperature level has elapsed.
