摘要: This disclosure provides a barcode print data creation apparatus (1) and barcode print data creation program capable of using information described in the barcode more effectively. More specifically, one or a plurality of integration data (401) are created by processing read data (201, 202, 203) obtained by reading plural barcodes (101, 102, 103) so as to create processed data (301, 302, 303), integrating the processed data (301, 302, 303) or integrating the read data (201, 202, 203) according to a predetermined rule. Then, print data (501) for printing the barcode describing the integration data (401) is created. The "processing" includes "selection of items", "addition of items", "sorting of data" and "classification of data".

摘要: The invention concerns a method for characterizing and a method for identifying a package in particular filled with cigarettes comprising a package element for packaging the material to be packaged and an envelope enclosing at least partly the packaging element. The invention also concerns a device for characterizing and a device for identifying a package in particular a package filled with cigarettes comprising an element for packaging the material to be packaged and an envelope enclosing at least partly the packaging material. The invention further concerns a package, in particular a cigarette package. The prior art characterizing and identifying methods and devices do not enable reliable verification of the authenticity of the package, since the known security measures can be circumvented. The inventive methods and devices, as a result of the random and unique nature of the recording of an individual code and a characteristic property of the packaging element and/or of the envelope, which is present on all the successive products, enable unequivocal and reliable verification of the authenticity of the package, with limited costs. The inventive package which comprises an additional screened mark contributes to an unequivocal identification.

摘要: Microparticles (8) includes an optical substrate (10) having at least one diffraction grating (12) disposed therein. The grating (12) having a plurality of colocated pitches Λ which represent a unique identification digital code that is detected when illuminated by incident light (24). The incident light (24) may be directed transversely from the side of the substrate (10) with a narrow band (single wavelength) or multiple wavelength source, in which case the code is represented by a spatial distribution of light or a wavelength spectrum, respectively. The code may be digital binary or may be other numerical bases. The micro-particles (8) can provide a large number of unique codes, e.g., greater than 67 million codes, and can withstand harsh environments. The microparticles (8) are functionalized by coating them with a material/substance of interest, which are then used to perform multiplexed experiments involving chemical processes, e.g., DNA testing and combinatorial chemistry.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and a device for identification and authentication of an object, by means of coded information applied to the object. The modus operandi is based on the principle of a laser scanner which has at least two photoelectric detectors (10, 13) with connected decoding devices (11, 14, 15). In a first measuring channel (10, 11) an open coding is recorded, which is in the form of a barcode applied to an object read in the conventional manner, based on the varying light reflection/absorption of light and dark regions. In the second measuring channel (12, 13, 14) the detection of coded security information applied to the same object is carried out. The latter is preferably applied in the form of luminescent security pigments/dyes. The above are stimulated by means of the light source (2) of the barcode scanner at a particular optical wavelength and display a specific luminescence in at least one different wavelength region. The detector device of the second measuring channel is preferably provided with a wavelength-selecting element (12).

摘要: A coded image on a recording medium (a card (100)) which records desired information as an optically readable coded image (a dot code) contains predetermined record location information indicating a record location at which the image is recorded on the card, as, for example, an element of a physical format of the image. A coded image reading apparatus (1) for reading the coded image from the card has image inputting means (a pickup (2)). The apparatus includes a CPU (4), which includes and can execute record location determining means (a program) for obtaining record location information from an input image and determining a record location of the image. The card (100) is guided so that the proper read operation can be performed in accordance with this function of determination. Thus, schemes for the reading of the optically readable coded image are devised in accordance with the record location of the coded image on the card (100) which records the coded image, and therefore it is possible to provide a recording medium and a coded image reading apparatus which a user can properly use with simplicity.
