摘要： A system comprises building panels with a hard surface, e.g. stone or tile, which are mechanically connectable to each other along one pair of adjacent joint edges (5a,5b). Each building panel is provided with tongue (10) at a first joint edge (5a,5b) and groove (9) at a second opposite joint edge (5a,5b) formed in one piece with the panel for mechanically locking together two such panels at right angles to the principal plane of the panels, thereby forming a vertical mechanical connection (D1) between the panels. The panels are provided with a first locking element (8) at one of said first and second joint edges (5a,5b) formed in one piece with the panel and a locking groove (14) at an opposite first or second joint edge, the locking groove being open towards a rear side or a front side of the panel. Each building panel being provided with a second locking element (15) at the other of said first and second joint edges (5a,5b), formed of a separate material and connected to the locking groove (14), said second locking element (15) being positioned in the tongue side of the building panel (1,1') behind the tongue (10), or partly in the part of the tongue (10) being outside said vertical plane (VP) of the joint edge. The first and second locking element form a mechanical connections locking the panels to each other horizontally (D2) parallel to the principal plane and at right angles to the joint edges. The second locking element (15) is flexible and resilient such that two panels can be mechanically joined by displacement of said two panels horizontally towards each other, while a part of the second locking element at said second edge is resiliently displaced vertically, until said adjacent edges of the two panels are brought into engagement with each other horizontally and the second locking element at said second edge is displaced towards its initial position against the first locking element at the first edge.

摘要： A flooring system comprises a plurality of floor panels which are mechanically connectable to each other along one pair of adjacent joint edges. Each floor panel is provided with a first groove formed in one piece with the panel at a first joint edge and a flexible tongue (30) connected to a second groove at a second opposite joint edge for mechanically locking together said adjacent joint edges at right angles to the principal plane of the panels, thereby forming a vertical mechanical connections between the panels. The panels are further provided with a locking element at one of said first and second joint edges and a locking groove at an opposite first or second joint edge, for mechanically locking together said adjacent joint edges parallel to the principal plane and at right angles to the joint edges, the locking groove being open towards a rear side of the panel and the locking elements protrudes vertically from a locking strip. The flexible tongue (30) is flexible and resilient such that two panels can be mechanically joined by displacement of said two panels vertically towards each other, while at least a part of the flexible tongue (30) at said second opposite joint edge is resiliently displaced horizontally, until said adjacent edges of the two panels are brought into engagement with each other horizontally, the flexible tongue (30) at said second opposite joint edge is then displaced towards its initial position and against a wall of the first groove at said first joint edge. The flexible tongue is an extruded section with a groove portion located in the second groove and a projecting portion located outside the second groove, and said groove portion is resilient and punched.

A method of making the latch (10) includes the steps of molding a base (20) of the latch (10) of a first plastic material, molding a handle (24) to the base (20) to form an assembled unit of a second plastic material, molding a catch (22) to the molded base (20) and handle (24) to form a molded assembly in a mold of said handle (24), base (20) and catch (22), of a third plastic material.

摘要： A bi-directional locking socket for use with a seal device which includes a shackle having a plurality of locking elements on a surface thereof. The socket comprises a locking insert forming a locking arrangement including a body defining a chamber therein. The locking insert further includes opposing top and bottom ends where the top end defines a top opening communicating with the chamber, and the bottom end defines a bottom opening communicating with the chamber. A plurality of mirror image spaced fingers define a passageway extending through the chamber. The plurality of fingers allow passage of the locking elements as a free end of the shackle is pulled through the passageway via either the top or the bottom openings in opposite insertion directions, and lock with a locking element of the shackle when the shackle movement is in an opposite direction to the insertion direction. In the alternative, the socket has a chamber with the locking arrangement formed one piece therewith.

摘要： A locking handle (12,112) for a refrigerator includes a mounting element (46,146) rigidly secured to a refrigerator door, a hand grip (48,148) rigidly secured to the mounting element, and a latch (50,150) attached to the mounting element. The latch (50,150) has a catch (68,168) movable between a locked position and an unlocked position and an actuator (70,170) operably connected to the catch (68,168) for moving the catch from the locked position to the unlocked position. The latch (50,150) provides a positive lock which is actuated to an unlocked position with a manipulation separate from pulling the hand grip (48,148) but has an actuator (70,170) located near the hand grip so that it can be manipulated by a hand grasping and pulling the hand grip. In a first embodiment, the catch (68) is integrally molded with the mounting portion (46) and is laterally deflectable away from a retainer (42) mounted beside the door. In a second embodiment the catch (168) is a vertically extending spindle which is downwardly movable away from a retainer (142) mounted above the door.
