    摘要: Ignition system for an internal-combustion engine, in particular for use in a chain saw or the like, comprising a magnetically conducting core (10) supporting a charging winding (21) and a triggering winding (22), a flywheel (14) having at least one magnetic field generating member (15) and adapted to cooperate with the magnetically conducting core (10) to cause, when passing, voltages to be induced in the windings (21, 22), and an electronic switch means (27) adapted to trigger, in response to a trigger pulse generated by the triggering winding (22), the discharge of a capacitor (26), which has been charged by a voltage generated in the charging winding (21), via the primary (18) of an ignition coil (17) the secondary (19) of which comprises a spark plug (20). The ignition system comprises an additional winding (37) which is provided and disposed so that during its normal rotational movement the flywheel (14) first passes said additional winding (37) before turning in over the legs (11, 12, 13) of the magnetically conducting core (10), the voltage induced in the additional winding (37) being used to prevent trigger pulses from reaching the switch means (27) if the direction of rotation of the engine is the opposite to the normal one.

    摘要: In a misfire detector device for use in internal combustion engine, an electrical interrupter circuit on-off actuates a primary current flowing through a primary circuit of an ignition coil to induce a sparkplug voltage which is applied to a multi-electrode type spark plug. A check diode or a series gap is provided in a secondary circuit of the ignition coil to prevent a current flowing back to the ignition coil. A sparkplug voltage detector circuit detects an attenuation time length of a sparkplug voltage waveform presented subsequent to a time period predetermined after an end of a spark action of the spark plug. On the basis of the attenuation time length, a distinction circuit determines whether a misfire occurs in a cylinder of an internal combustion engine.

An oscillator (38) for charging the capacitor (36) is enabled if a trigger switch (16) is closed while a head switch (14) is closed, but not if the trigger switch (16) is closed while the head switch (14) is opened, and if a battery voltage, as monitored, is not less than a reference voltage, and so that a silicon-controlled rectifier (44), which is arranged to produce a sudden discharge of the capacitor (36), is switched to a conductive state if the capacitor voltage, as monitored, and is not less than a reference voltage. The head (14) and trigger (16) switches, which are photo-electric, are polled intermittently to determine whether they are closed. Predominantly, solid-state components are used.

Um im bei Ausfall des KW-Gebers erfolgenden Notbetrieb stets eine sichere Zylinderidentifizierung (Zylinder-1-Erkennung) vornehmen zu können, ist zwischen einem ersten, einem bestimmten Zylinder (Zylinder 1) zugeordneten Phasensignal (PE) und dem diesen folgenden, benachbarten Phasensignal (P) ein Kennungssignal (K) gelegt, das zusammen mit dem zugehörigen ersten Phasensignal (PE) das Zyklussignal (Z) bildet.
